Oussama Darragi
Oussama Darragi (born 3 April 1987) is a Tunisian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Club career Darragi was chosen as the best player in the Tunisian league for the year 2010. After contributing to Ésperance de Tunis winning the Tunisian League, the Tunisian Cup and the CAF Champions League, he was named the African-based Player of the Year for 2011 by the Confederation of African Football. In January 2020, he joined JS Kabylie from Club Africain. International career Darragi was called up to the Tunisia national team's squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. 2012 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification
This page details the process of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification phase. Forty-six African nations, including hosts Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, entered the competition. Gabon and Equatorial Guinea automatically qualified as host countries. The other 44 nations were drawn into eleven groups, each containing 4 teams. Togo was later added to Group K after its reinstatement. In each group, teams played each other home and away in a round-robin format. The top team in each group qualified, as did the runner-up of Group K (which contained 5 teams) and the two best runners-up from the other groups. 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CAF)
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) section of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification saw teams compete for five berths in the final tournament in South Africa. The qualification stage doubled as the qualification stage for the 2010 African Cup of Nations, with fifteen teams qualifying for the finals held in Angola. In total, 53 nations participated; however, due to the presence of the two tournaments' respective hosts, 52 teams were involved in each competition. South Africa qualified automatically as host for the World Cup, and Angola qualified as host for the African Cup of Nations.
