Oupa Manyisa
Oupa Manyisa (born 30 July 1988) is a South African footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Eastern Cape side Chippa United FC. He started his senior career with Orlando Pirates F.C. and went on to become a crowd pleaser and one of the key players in the squad, helping them dominate local football for two consecutive seasons, winning 2 trebles, also being runners up on the Champions League and Confederation Cup. After spending 9 seasons and making over 160 appearances for the Sea Robbers, Oupa set out to get a new challenge, much to the disappointment of the fans. He left Orlando Pirates F.C for Mamelodi Sundowns F.C in 2017, but failed to command a place in the starting 11, mostly because of picking up injuries and facing stiff competition in the team. Joseph Malongoane
Joseph Malongoane (born 17 March 1988) is a South African footballer who plays for Marumo Gallants. He was born in the village of Moletjie, Limpopo but grew up in Alexandra, Gauteng. The skilful midfielder started his professional career on the books of Platinum Stars under the guidance of coach Steve Komphela. His career then led him to stints with AmaZulu, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United. At the start of the 2016/17 season, Molangoane re-united with coach Steve again when he committed to Amakhosi for two years. Tight (as he is known by football fans) suffered a horrific injury when he broke his ankle playing against Free State Stars in August 2018. This saw him being ruled out for the rest of 2018. The 2017–18 South African Premier Division season (known as the ABSA Premiership for sponsorship reasons) is the 22nd season of the Premier Soccer League since its conception in 1996. Bidvest Wits were the defending champions, having won the previous 2016–17 South African Premier Division (PSL) season. Telkom Knockout
The Telkom Knockout was a South African professional football knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. The competition was established in 1982 and was first known as the Datsun Challenge. Under the new NSL regime in 1984, it became known as the ''JPS Knockout Cup''. It used this name until 1992 when it became known as the ''Coca-Cola Cup''. It was sponsored by the drinks manufacturer until 1996, when it was replaced by the ''Rothmans Cup'' which was changed back to the ''Coca-Cola Cup'' in 2001 due to the new rules regarding tobacco sponsorship in sport. Telkom became the new sponsors in 2006. In all matches there had to be a winner on the day, this will be decided if there is a winner after full-time (90 minutes). The Nedbank Cup is the current name of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, premier club association football, soccer knockout tournament. While many formats have been used over the years, the tournament has always been based on the idea of giving lower league and amateur teams a chance to compete with clubs from the top league for the cup.
