Oulu Swimming Pool
Oulu Swimming Pool is an indoor swimming pool in the Raksila neighbourhood in Oulu, Finland. It is the biggest of the three indoor swimming pools in Oulu and one of the biggest in Finland. The swimming pool designed by architect Risto Harju was completed in 1974. The main pool is a pool with eight lanes. In addition to the main pool there are a lap pool, children's pools, a pool with a water slide and an activity pool. Oulu ( , ; sv, Uleåborg ) is a city, municipality and a seaside resort of about 210,000 inhabitants in the region of North Ostrobothnia, Finland. The markka ( fi, markka; sv, mark; sign: Mk; ISO code: FIM, typically known outside Finland as the Finnish mark) was the currency of Finland from 1860 until 28 February 2002, when it ceased to be legal tender. The mark was divided into 100 pennies ( fi, penni; sv, penni), abbreviated as "p". At the point of conversion, the rate was fixed at €1 = Mk 5.94573. The mark was replaced by the euro (€), which had been introduced, in cash form, on 1 January 2002. Raksila
Raksila is a District of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. It is bounded by the Oulu railway station to the west, the Oulu Cemetery in the Intiö district to the north, the Finnish national road 4 to the east and the Finnish national road 22 to the south.
