Oscar Sigvald Julius Strugstad (6 July 1851 – 12 August 1919) was a Norwegian military officer and politician. He served as Minister of Defence from 1903 to 1905. He died in 1919 and was buried at Vestre gravlund. Vestre Gravlund
Vestre Gravlund is a cemetery in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located next to the Borgen metro station. At , it is the largest cemetery in Norway. It was inaugurated in September 1902 and also contains a crematorium (''Vestre krematorium'') and chapel (''Gravkapellet''). The grave chapel was constructed in granite and clay stone and was designed by architect Alfred Christian Dahl (1857–1940). It was built in 1900 and consecrated in 1902. In the foundation wall, it has stained glass that was designed by artist Oddmund Kristiansen (1920–1997) in 1970. Hans Daae (15 October 1865 – 10 December 1926) was a Norwegian physician, military officer and sports official. Personal life Daae was born in Kragerø to prison director Anders Daae and Anna Honoria Hansen. He married Anna Helen Alm in 1894. Career He graduated as cand.med. in 1890, and was also a military officer. He headed the Norwegian Army's medical service from 1909, and was promoted major general in 1917. He initiated and edited the magazine ''Norsk Tidsskrift for Militærmedicin''. From 1916 to 1920 he chaired the sports association Centralforeningen for utbredelse af idræt. Frithjof Jacobsen (31 October 1843 – 12 February 1921) was a Norwegian military officer and sports official. Jacobsen was born in Vågå to physician Nils Laurits Severin Jacobsen and Johanne Jørgensen. He married Severine Elisabeth Holst in 1876. He graduated as military officer in 1865, was promoted lieutenant colonel in 1897, and colonel in 1901, commanding the Hallingdal Battalion from 1901 to 1908. He served as acting War Commissioner in Bodø from 1909 to 1910, and in Hamar from 1911 to 1916. From 1904 to 1906 he chaired the sports association Centralforeningen for utbredelse af idræt. He was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1905, and was a Knight, First Class of the Order of the Sword.
