World TeamTennis
World TeamTennis (WTT) is a mixed-gender professional tennis league played with a team format in the United States, which was founded in 1973. The league's season normally takes place in the summer months. Players from the ATP and WTA take a break from their tour schedules to partake in World TeamTennis. WTT was the first professional sports league to grant equal status to each man and woman competing for their teams. Jay Gooding
Jay Gooding (born 13 May 1976) is an Australian tennis coach and former professional player. Gooding was born in Melbourne and raised on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Sunshine Coast. He attended Nambour State High School. Turning professional in 1998, Gooding competed mostly in ITF satellite and Futures tournaments, with the occasional ATP Challenger Tour, ATP Challenger appearance. He won five ITF Futures titles in doubles. Darija Jurak Schreiber (née Jurak; ; born 5 April 1984) is a Croatian professional tennis player. Her career-high doubles ranking is world No. 9, achieved on 15 November 2021. Her best WTA ranking in singles of 188 she reached in April 2004. James Ward (born 9 February 1987) is a British former professional tennis player. He is a Davis Cup champion and former British No. 2. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 Aegon International and the semifinals of the 2011 Aegon Championships as a wildcard entry. His best Grand Slam performance to date was reaching the third round of Wimbledon in 2015. Whitney Osuigwe ( ; born April 17, 2002) is an American tennis player. In 2017, Osuigwe was the ITF Junior World Champion. She won the juniors 2017 French Open to become the first American to win the girls' singles event in Paris in 28 years. Personal life Osuigwe has been playing tennis at the IMG Academy since age six, where her father Desmond has been a teacher at the academy since 1997 and acts as her primary coach. Scott Lipsky (born August 14, 1981 in Merrick, New York) is an American former professional tennis player and coach. As a player, Lipsky was primarily a doubles specialist. As a junior, Lipsky was ranked No. 1 in the U.S. in singles in 1995, and No. 1 in doubles for three straight years, in 1995–97. He won USTA national singles championships at both the 1995 Boys' 14s Clay Court Championships and the 1997 Boys' 16s Clay Court Championships.
