Oriflame Holding AG is a Swedish multinational multi-level marketing company that sells beauty and personal care products directly to consumers online through a network of independent sellers. Oriflame was founded on Jan 1, 1967 in Sweden by brothers Jonas af Jochnick and Robert af Jochnick, and their friend Bengt Hellsten. The head office of Oriflame is located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with a registered office in Stockholm, Sweden. Oriflame was traded on the Nasdaq Stockholm until being delisted on 17 July 2019. Operations The company has approximately 6,000 employees, 1,000 products, and a turnover of over 1.3 billion Euro. As of August 2020, Oriflame operates in more than 60 countries, where its beauty products are marketed by over 3 million Oriflame Brand Partners. Magnus Brännström (born June 4, 1966) is a Swedish businessman and advocate of the direct selling industry. Brännström has served as the CEO and president of the beauty company Oriflame since 2006 and became in 2017 the Chairman of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA). Brännström is one of few Swedish CEOs of his generation to have made his management career out of Russia. Multi-level marketing (MLM), also called network marketing or pyramid selling, is a controversial marketing strategy for the sale of products or services in which the revenue of the MLM company is derived from a non-salaried workforce selling the company's products or services, while the earnings of the participants are derived from a pyramid-shaped or binary compensation commission system. Roorkee (Rūṛkī) is a city and a municipal corporation in the Haridwar district of the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is from Haridwar city, the district headquarter.
