is a 1974 Japanese Science fiction film directed by Toshio Masuda. Based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's novel of the same title. Shōhei Hino made his film debut in the film. Plot Kinugawa Ryosuke transfused yakuza's blood when he was a child because of that blood transfusion he sometimes transforms into a super-human. Toshio Masuda (director)
is a Japanese film director. He developed a reputation as a consistent box office hit-maker. Over the course of five decades, 16 of his films made the yearly top ten lists at the Japanese box office—a second place record in the industry. Between 1958 and 1968 he directed 52 films for the Nikkatsu Company. He was their top director of action films and worked with the company's top stars, including Yujiro Ishihara with whom he made 25 films. After the breakdown of the studio system, he moved on to a succession of big-budget movies including the American-Japanese co-production ''Tora! Tora! Tora!'' Yasutaka Tsutsui
is a Japanese novelist, science fiction author, and actor. His ''Yumenokizaka bunkiten'' won the Tanizaki Prize in 1987. He has also won the 1981 Izumi Kyoka award, the 1989 Kawabata Yasunari award, and the 1992 Nihon SF Taisho Award. Writing style His work is known for its dark humour and satirical content. is a Japanese actor and singer. Hino was born in Tokyo and raised in Osaka. Hino appeared in many jidaigeki television dramas. He is best known for his roles in the Hissatsu series. He began his acting career at the age of 13. In 1966, he made his film debut with ''Izukoe''. In 1973, he was given the stage name ''Shōhei Hino'' by novelist Shōtarō Ikenami. In the same year, he won popularity through his role Hashiba Hideyoshi in Kunitori Monogatari.
