Ordentlig Radio
Ordentlig Radio (English: Genuine Radio) is a Norwegian Internet radio station that was officially launched in 2012. Headquartered at Flytårnet på Fornebu outside Oslo, the initiative for the station came from recording artist Øystein Sunde and radio veteran Tor Andersen of Radio P4. The Internet-only radio format followed two rejections of application for land-based broadcasting licence in 2007 and 2008. The FM application was for the Oslo and Greater Oslo Region. When the company subsequently folded in 2009, Sunde with his family company owned 21.8% of the shares. Andersen and his partner with their company owned an equally large share. Artist Jonas Fjeld also held a 2.73% share of the company. The content of the 24-hour station is exclusively Norwegian music, and the music archive initially contained 12,000 songs. Norwegian Music
Much has been learned about early music in Norway from physical artifacts found during archaeological digs. These include instruments such as the lur. Jonas Fjeld
Jonas Fjeld (born Terje Lillegård Jensen; 24 September 1952) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is best known in the English-speaking world for two albums recorded by Danko/Fjeld/Andersen, a collaboration with Canadian Rick Danko of The Band and American singer-songwriter Eric Andersen. Fjeld also recorded three albums with the American bluegrass group Chatham County Line. Biography Fjeld took his stage name from the principal character of a series of novels written by Øvre Richter Frich. Although he was born in Bodø, he moved with his family to Drammen, Norway when he was a child. Fjeld's first recording contract was with the Jonas Fjeld Rock 'n' Rolf Band, a comedy band which included Herodes Falsk, in 1972. Halvdan Sivertsen (born 5 January 1950) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was born in Tromsø, but raised and lives in Bodø. Greater Oslo Region ("Stor-Oslo-regionen" in Norwegian) is a statistical metropolitan region surrounding the Norwegian capital of Oslo. The region includes the city of Oslo (population: 658,390), the entire county of Akershus (population: 573,326) and several municipalities in the counties of Buskerud (150,709), Oppland (8,552), Vestfold (27,695) and Østfold (102,808). It is divided into five areas: the city of Oslo (590,041), the Inner Circle of Greater Oslo (309,717), the Outer Circle of Greater Oslo (313,258), Drammen Region (150,655) and Moss Region (54,920).
