Opoul XIII
Opoul XIII were a French Rugby league club based in Opoul-Périllos, Pyrénées Orientales in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The club played in the Languedoc-Rousillon League in the French National Division 2. Home games were played at the Stade de la Lime. History Opoul XIII had a rather nondescript and uneventful early years, indeed it would be season 1984/85 while they were in the bottom league Federal Division now called the National Division 2 that they surprisingly reached the league final. There would be no fairy tale ending though as they were beaten 19–8 by Mazan XIII. In season 88/89 they went one better and won the competition after victory over Saint-Hyppolite XIII 27–12. After another decade of no trophies it was announced in 2000 that they were going to merge with close neighbours Salses XIII and become Salses Opoul XIII. Opoul-Périllos
Opoul-Périllos (; oc, Òpol i Perellós, ) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. Geography Opoul-Périllos is located in the canton of La Vallée de l'Agly and in the arrondissement of Perpignan. The commune's highest point, Montoliu de Perellós (707 meters, a summit located next to the river Aude), stands as the northernmost point in Catalan-speaking countries. Opoul-Périllos spreads over a large area of 5,053 hectares (12,486 acres). Pyrénées Orientales

National Division 2
National Division 2 is the fourth tier of rugby league in France, below the National Division 1. The season runs from September to April. The Division is split into 5 regional leagues, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrenees, Aquitaine, Ile de France and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA). Clubs play each other home and away in their respective regional league with the top clubs progressing into a series of play-off matches to determine the champions. The champions can apply for promotion to the ''National Division 1''. This tier was formerly known as the Federal Championship. Mazan (; oc, Masan) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Salses XIII are a French Rugby league club based in Salses-le-Château, Pyrénées-Orientales in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. They play in the French National Division 2 Languedoc-Rousillon League. Home games are played at the Stade Fontvielle History The club was founded in 1955 at a time when new clubs were starting up in rugby league, as the French national team were enjoying what would be their best period at international level. It would take Salses until 1986 to appear in their first final, defeated by Ornaisons XIII 10-16 in the Federal Division, now known as the National Division 2 league. In 2000 they merged with local side Opoul XIII to become Salses Opoul XIII this partnership would last for seven years, when both clubs reverted to their original names. Le Mas Agenais XIII are a French Rugby league club based in Le Mas-d'Agenais, Lot-et-Garonne in the Aquitaine region. The club plays in the Midi-Pyrenees regional League in the French National Division 2. Home matches are played at the Stade Municipal Norbert Tessier. History Le Mas Agenais XIII have always played in the lower reaches of the French Rugby League system. In season 74/75 they won the Federal Division now called the National Division 2 but didn't go up. Since then they have finished runner-up twice, firstly in 96/97 when they lost out to Castelnau XIII 26-38 and then in season 2002/03 when they were beaten by Salses Opoul XIII 22-36. The Albert Falcou Cup (french: Coupe Albert-Falcou), also called Albert Falcou French Cup (french: Coupe de France Albert-Falcou), is an annual knock-out competition organised by the Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII for amateur rugby league clubs in France. History The competition was introduced in 1937 and was originally known as the French Amateur Cup. The inaugural winners were the short-lived La Rochelle club (during World War II the club was forced to merge with the city's rugby union club, Atlantique Stade Rochelais, by the Vichy Government of the time). When rugby league was legalised again at the end of the war, the cup was re-instituted as the National Cup. This incarnation was contested between 1945 and 1962. Baroudeurs De Pia XIII
The Baroudeurs de Pia XIII, later known as the Pia Donkeys, are a French Rugby league team based in Pia, Pyrénées-Orientales in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The ''Baroudeurs'' play in the Elite Two Championship during their existence they were the reserve team of the Elite One Championship team SM Pia XIII (the original Pia Donkeys), until that team ceased competing in Elite One and the reserve Baroudeurs were absorbed under the ''SM'' banner.
