Burgundy (; french: link=no, Bourgogne ) is a historical territory and former administrative region and province of east-central France. Thomas Levet
Thomas Jean Roger Levet (born 5 September 1968) is a French professional golfer who is a member of the European Tour and former member of the PGA Tour. Career Levet was born in Paris, France. He turned professional in 1988 and won the French PGA Championship that year, but he had to wait for a decade for his first win on the European Tour, which came at the 1998 Cannes Open. In 2002, he finished second at The Open Championship at Muirfield, being one of four players in a playoff. He had a good chance to win, but bogeyed the final hole of the four-hole playoff to fall into sudden death with Ernie Els, where he again bogeyed to lose to Els. After spending 2003 on the PGA Tour, he returned to the European Tour in 2004. He claimed the most prestigious title of his career at the Scottish Open, and was a member of the winning 2004 European Ryder Cup Team. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. Charles Raulerson
Charles Raulerson (born January 29, 1964) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Raulerson joined the Nationwide Tour in 1990. He went through PGA Tour qualifying school in 1993 and joined the Tour in 1994. After a poor year on Tour he took a hiatus from Tour until 1998 when he rejoined the Nationwide Tour. He won two events that year, the Nike Oregon Classic and the Nike Inland Empire Open en route to a 7th-place finish on the money list. He returned to the PGA Tour in 1999 and spent two years on Tour before returning to the Nationwide Tour in 2001. He played on the Nationwide Tour until 2003 until retiring from the Tour. Jeremy Robinson (golfer)
Jeremy Gordon Robinson (born 21 January 1966) is an English professional golfer. Robinson was born in Scarborough and learnt the game as a junior member at Woodhall Spa Golf Club in Lincolnshire, where his father and brother were also members at the time. He was a talented junior golfer and won the Peter McEvoy Trophy in 1982. Robinson studied Economics at Florida State University in the United States, where he was twice named Most Outstanding Athlete in the Metro Conference. In 1987 he won the Brabazon Trophy, Berkshire Trophy and Philip Scrutton Jug before turning professional later that year having represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Walker Cup (with a 2–2–0 record). Frédéric Regard (golfer)
Frédéric Regard is a professor of English Literature at Paris-Sorbonne University, where he teaches 19th-, 20th- and 21st-century literature and literary theory. He is a specialist in gender studies in France. Biography Regard was born in 1959 in Algeria in a family that had settled in Kabylie in the 19th century. He was schooled in Metropolitan France from the age of ten and entered the École normale supérieure de lettres et sciences humaines in 1978, where he majored in English literature. He passed the Agrégation in 1981 and then pursued a state doctorate under Hélène Cixous's supervision. His doctorate focused on the work of novelist William Golding, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature a year later. Regard's approach in this work had already developed into the analytical stance he would adopt later on in his career: the relationship between ethics and aesthetics. Niclas Fasth (born 29 April 1972) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Early life Fasth was born in Gothenburg. In 1982, when he was 10 years old, his parents bought a summer house close to Lysegården Golf Club in Kungälv, north of Gothenburg. His family, with father Kristher, mother Inga-Lill and younger sister Jessica, used to spend their summers there and began playing golf. With a lot of friends also playing the game, young Fasth was always at the golf course, practiced a lot and showed early talent. Beside golf, Fasth practiced other sports and during winter time also showed talent in ice hockey. At 16 years of age, he was adopted at the Swedish upper secondary sports school in Mark, outside Borås, to combine studying with golf training. Ian Garbutt
Ian David Garbutt (born 3 April 1972) is an English professional golfer. Garbutt was born in Doncaster. He started playing golf at the age of 8, and by the age of 16, he had become a scratch player. He won the English Amateur at the age of 18, defeating Gary Evans in the final. Garbutt turned professional in 1992, and played on the European and Challenge Tours, sometimes splitting his time between both, until the end of 2008. Having lost his place on the European Tour at the end of the season, he retired from tournament golf early the following year to take up a position with sports management group ISM. In 1996, Garbutt finished top of the Challenge Tour Rankings, after winning the UAP Grand Final.
