Oopiri
''Oopiri'' () is a 2016 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and produced by PVP Cinema. The film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah while Prakash Raj, Vivek, Ali Basha, Jayasudha, Kalpana, Tanikella Bharani and Manobala play supporting roles. Karthi debuts in Telugu cinema through this film. The film focuses on the lives of Vikramaditya, a quadriplegic billionaire, and Seenu, his ex-convict caretaker. Their realisation of the primacy of life and relationships over money and disability forms the major part of its story. A remake of Olivier Nakache & Éric Toledano French film ''The Intouchables'' (2011), the film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil with the latter titled as ''Thozha'' (). Gopi Sundar C. S. (born 30 May 1977) is an Indian music director, programmer, playback singer, songwriter, actor and performer who works prominently in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil film industries. He started his career composing music for television commercials, has nearly 5,000 jingles to his credit. As a keyboard programmer, he has collaborated with many music directors including the composer duo Vishal–Shekhar. Karthik Sivakumar (born 25 May 1977), better known by his stage name Karthi, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Paidipally Vamshidhar Rao (born 27 July 1979), better known as Vamshi Paidipally, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema. Tamanna Bhatia (born 21 December 1989), known professionally as Tamannaah, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Telugu and Tamil films, along with a few Hindi films.
