Ong Soo Hin
Ong Soo Hin is a Malaysian Chinese businessman and head of a salvaging company in south-east Asia. He was born to Chinese parents in Malaysia. He was business partners with marine salvor Mike Hatcher. Malaysian Chinese (; Malay: ''Orang Cina Malaysia''), alternatively Chinese Malaysians, are Malaysian citizens of Han Chinese descent. Mike Hatcher
Michael Hatcher (born 1940) is a British explorer and marine salvor. He has specialised in work in the South China Sea. In 1981 he was involved in investigating the wreck of Dutch submarine ''K XVII''. He is especially known for his recovery of large quantities of Chinese porcelain from the VOC ship ''Geldermalsen'' (known as the "Nanking cargo") which was sold at auction by Christie's in Amsterdam in 1986. Mensun Bound (born 4 February 1953) is a British maritime archaeologist born in Stanley, Falkland Islands. He is best known as director of exploration for two expeditions to the Weddell Sea which led to the rediscovery of the Endurance,BBC News, 9.3.22 in which Sir Ernest Shackleton and a crew of 27 men sailed for the Antarctic on the 1914–1917 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The ship sank after being crushed by the ice on 21 November 1915. It was rediscovered by thEndurance22 expeditionon 5 March 2022.
