One Second (Yello Album)
''One Second'' is Yello's fifth original studio album, having been preceded by a 'new mix' compilation the previous year. Released in 1987, the album is noteworthy for featuring both Billy Mackenzie and Shirley Bassey, the latter singing vocals on " The Rhythm Divine". The songs "Call It Love", "Si Senor The Hairy Grill", "Moon On Ice", "Hawaiian Chance" were used on episodes of ''Miami Vice'' and the song "Santiago" used as a sample from Dunya Yunis' "Abu Zeluf". A couple of songs were also used in the 1990 film ''Nuns on the Run''. The song "Si Senor The Hairy Grill" was used as theme song for the Fox TV show ''The Edge''. Yello
Yello is a Swiss electronic music band, which formed in Zürich in 1979. For most of the band's history, Yello has been a duo consisting of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank; founding member Carlos Perón left in 1983. Their sound is often characterised by unusual music samples and a heavy reliance on rhythm, with Meier as vocalist and lyricist, and Blank providing the music. ''Miami Vice'' is an American crime drama television series created by Anthony Yerkovich and produced by Michael Mann (director), Michael Mann for NBC. ''Stella'' is the fourth studio album by the Swiss electronic band Yello, first released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on 29 January 1985, and in the UK and US in March 1985. It was the first album made by the band without founder member Carlos Perón, and with his departure the remaining duo of Boris Blank and Dieter Meier began to move away from experimental electronic sounds towards a more commercial synthpop and cinematic soundtrack style. ''The Edge'' is an American sketch comedy television series created by David Mirkin that aired on the Fox Network from a single season from September 19, 1992 to May 2, 1993. ''Nuns on the Run'' is a 1990 British comedy film starring Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane, also featuring Camille Coduri and Janet Suzman.
