One Records is a record label based in Belgrade, Serbia. Formed in 1999, its catalogue covers a fairly wide musical spectrum - from hard rock and heavy metal bands such as Alogia, Cactus Jack, Dargoron, Stratus, and others, to Irish folk/Celtic rock bands Tir na n'Og and Irish Stew of Sindidun, to the local hip-hop scene with acts like Bad Copy, Škabo, Ajs Nigrutin, Wikluh Sky, and others. Bad Copy
Bad Copy are a hip-hop trio group from Belgrade, Serbia known for their humorous lyrics and slang. The members are Ajs Nigrutin (stage name of Vladan Aksentijević), Wikluh Sky (Đorđe Miljenović) and Timbe (Rašid Kurtanović). Miki Boj, born Milan Šaponja, was active in the band until his death 1999. They have released several albums as a group and as solo artists and helped the popularization of hip hop music in Serbia and Ex-Yugoslavia in the new millennium. History The group started off as a duo consisting of Ajs Nigrutin and Miki Boj. Their first album '' Orbod mebej'', got released by ITMM in 1996, mostly contained comical songs rapped over instrumentals from popular American rap acts such as Method Man and Naughty By Nature. Van Gogh (band)
Van Gogh is a Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band from Belgrade. The band was formed in 1986, and released their debut alternative rock-oriented self-titled album during the same year. During the 1990s, the band released a number of well-received albums inspired mostly by the works of the band Ekatarina Velika, and in the 2000s the band adopted more commercial sound, becoming one of the top acts of the Serbian rock scene. S Vremena Na Vreme ( sr-cyr, С Времена На Време, trans. ''From Time To Time'') is a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1972. S Vremena Na Vreme were one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav 1970s acoustic rock scene, and one of the pioneers in incorporating Balkan folk music elements into rock music on the Yugoslav rock scene. S Vremena Na Vreme was formed by brothers Miomir "Miki" Đukić and Vojislav "Koki" Đukić, Asim Sarvan and Ljubomir "Ljuba" Ninković, all four singing and playing acoustic guitars. Suncokret ( sr-cyr, Сунцокрет; trans. ''Sunflower'') was a Yugoslav acoustic rock band from Belgrade. Band history 1975 — 1980 The band was formed in 1975 by former Zajedno member Bora Đorđević (vocals and acoustic guitar), a former U Cvetu Mladosti member Nenad Božić (vocals and acoustic guitar) and female singers Snežana Jandrlić and Vesna Rakočević. After release of the single "Kara Mustafa", Vesna Rakočević left the band and joined Zdravo, and Bilja Krstić and Gorica Popović became new Suncokret members. At the half of 1976, they were joined by bass guitarist Bata Sokić. The band released several successful singles, some of them inspired by traditional songs. Vladimir "Vlatko" Stefanovski ( mk, Влатко Стефановски ) is a Macedonian ethno-rock jazz fusion guitar virtuoso. Biography Vlatko was born into a typical theatrical family. His parents, as artists, often traveled, so soon Stefanovski moved to Skopje, in the neighborhood Taftalidze. Vlatko Stefanovski lives with his family (consisting of daughter Ana and son Jan) in Skopje. The group reached the peak of popularity in the 1970s when it was one of the most notable acts of the former Yugoslav rock scene. Oktobar 1864 ( sr-cyr, Октобар 1864; trans. ''October 1864'') was a Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band. Biography 1984 – 1992 Oktobar 1864 was formed in 1984 in Zemun by Goran Tomanović and have changed several line-ups before they won the Best demo Band Award at the MESAM festival in 1986. Goran Tomanović looked for first band members over the newspaper ads. The band had its first big performance in 1985 when they performed in Taš club in Belgrade, and that is when Tanja Jovićević, the band's lead singer, joined the group. After this, the band started the work on their debut, self-titled, album. The album was recorded in November and December 1986 in O Studio in Belgrade and produced by Saša Habić. Goblini ( sr-Cyrl, Гоблини; trans. ''The Goblins'') are a Serbian punk rock band from Šabac. History Formation, rise to prominence (1992–1999) Guitarist Alen Jovanović and Vladislav Kokotović "Vlada", who lived in Karlovac, played in the band Lorelei until 1991 when they disbanded. Having played with numerous bands from Zagreb, the two moved to Šabac, and in March 1992, with the vocalist Branko Golubović, formed Goblini. The band changed several drummers until Nenad Divnić came to the band. The lineup recorded the first album ''Goblini'' (''The Goblins''), released on compact cassette only, and released in small printing in April 1994. Bjesovi ( sr-cyr, Бјесови; trans. ''The Demons'') are a Serbian alternative rock band formed in Gornji Milanovac in 1989. The band was one of the most notable acts of the 1990s Serbian rock scene. Formed in 1989 by vocalists and songwriters Zoran Marinković and Goran Marić under the name Baader-Meinhof, the band started working under the name Bjesovi in 1990 and released their debut album ''U osvit zadnjeg dana'' in 1991.
