Ondřej Polívka
Ondřej Polívka (born May 17, 1988 in Prague) is a modern pentathlete from the Czech Republic. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England, along with his teammates David Svoboda, who eventually won a gold medal in the men's event, and his girlfriend Natálie Dianová in the women's event. During the men's competition, Polívka made a disastrous start, with a disappointing score in one-touch épée fencing, but managed to keep his pace in swimming and horse-riding. His best competition result happened in a first ever combined running and pistol shooting, where he set two Olympic records for hitting five shots each in three sessions, with a score of 33.6 target points. Polívka finished the last segment in fourth place, despite his staggered start with a handicapped time and his accomplishment in laser pistol; however, he finished the event only in fifteenth place. Michal Michalík
Michal Michalík (born 12 July 1980 in Plzeň) is a modern pentathlete from the Czech Republic. He competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he finished sixth in the men's event, with a score of 5,332 points, and managed to repeat his position at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He is currently ranked no. 37 in the world by the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM). Michalík reached his first international success in modern pentathlon, when he won the gold medal at the 2001 World Junior Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Martina Sáblíková
Martina Sáblíková () (born 27 May 1987) is a Czech speed skater, specializing in long track speed skating. She is an Olympic gold medal winner and a multiple European and World allround champion. She became the first Czech to win two Olympic gold medals at one Winter Games in 2010. Sáblíková also competes in inline speed skating and road cycling races as a part of her summer preparation for the skating season. In cycling, she focuses on individual time trial discipline in which Sáblíková holds multiple Czech Republic National Championships titles and belongs to the world's top 15 female time-trialists. Lukáš Krpálek
Lukáš Krpálek (; born 15 November 1990) is a Czech heavyweight judoka. He is a former world champion (2019) and European champion (2014), former and current Olympic Champion (2016, 2020). He is the most successful judoka in Czech and Czechoslovak history, and was named Czech Judoka of the Year eight times between 2008 and 2015. Personal life Krpálek took up judo by chance – he wanted to train in karate, but his uncle mistook judo for karate. His brother Michal is also a judoka who served as a sparring partner for the Czech judo team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2015 Krpálek married Eva Kaderková; they have a son Antonín, born in 2016.
