"Once More" is a 2001 single by The Orb with vocals by Aki Omori. The B-sides include remixes by Mark Pritchard and Bedrock. The Bedrock remix was featured on Sasha & Digweed's ''Communicate'' album. It peaked at #38 on the UK Singles Chart. "Aki Omori used to sing with a band called Freaky Realistic," said Alex Paterson, "and we hooked up a few years ago. For once, we actually sat down round the kitchen table and started writing the song – which is unheard of for me. The Orb
The Orb are an English electronic music group founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty. Known for their psychedelic sound, the Orb developed a cult following among clubbers "coming down" from drug-induced highs. Bedrock (also known as John Digweed & Nick Muir) are a British electronic dance music duo comprising John Digweed and Nick Muir. Biography They produced the singles "For What You Dream Of" (1993, featured in ''Trainspotting''), "Set in Stone" / "Forbidden Zone" (1997), "Heaven Scent" (1999) (featured in the film ''Groove'') and "Voices" (2000), all of which reached the UK Singles Chart. Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie. Sasha & John Digweed are a British DJ duo comprising Sasha and John Digweed. Digweed had been DJing for ten years before getting a gig at Renaissance where he met Sasha, who had been working the past few years in various acid house music clubs and raves. Together, they honed their DJ skills, focusing on track selection and technical mixing abilities. In 1994, they released the triple CD mix album '' Renaissance: The Mix Collection'' on Renaissance Records. Mark Pritchard (born 1971) is an English electronic musician, currently signed to Warp. He has produced a large discography with a constant change of styles and genres, in both solo work under various aliases, and collaborations. History Mark Pritchard was born in Yeovil in Somerset, England in 1971. From an early age he listened to a wide range of musical styles, and says when he was 5 his mother would buy him a new 7" record every week. After spending his school years listening to ska, 2-tone, indie and rock, he eventually became involved in club music, specifically Detroit techno and Chicago house. In the clubs of Taunton he came into contact with fellow West Country residents Tom Middleton and Richard D. James. Middleton would become frequent collaborator and James would eventually be Pritchard's label-mate on Warp.
