Omid Alishah ( fa, امید عالیشاه; born January 10, 1992) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Persian Gulf Pro League club Persepolis. He signed a two-year contract with Persepolis on 11 June 2013 and made his debut on 16 August 2013. On 23 November 2014, Alishah scored the winning goal in the Tehran derby against rival Esteghlal in the 78th minute. has also played for Nassaji Mazandaran, Naft Tehran, Rah Ahan and Tractor. According to Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran all men from 18 years old or older must go for military service or non-military conscription ( fa, سربازی read "Sarbâzi") in the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Tehran Provincial League, formerly known as Tehran Clubs Championship, is the premier football league of Tehran Province and is 5th in the Iranian football pyramid after the 3rd Division. It is part of AFC's Vision Asia program. Stablished in 1920, it is the oldest football league still being held in Iran.
