Olympen was a music venue located in Lund, Sweden. It had a capacity of 2,500 and hosted many famous artists from 1971 to 2009. A list of partial performers include Alice Cooper, Steppenwolf, Queen, Faces, Paul McCartney and Wings, Kiss, ABBA, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Bob Dylan, Depeche Mode, Frank Zappa, Santana and Metallica. Lund
Lund (, , ) is a city in the southern Swedish provinces of Sweden, province of Scania, across the Øresund, Öresund strait from Copenhagen. The town had 91,940 inhabitants out of a municipal total of 121,510 . It is the seat of Lund Municipality, Scania County. The Øresund Region, Öresund Region, which includes Lund, is home to more than 4.1 million people. Archeologists date the foundation of Lund to around 990, when Scania was part of Denmark.
