Oliver Fernández (tennis)
Oliver Fernandez (Orizaba, 7 December 1972) is a former professional tennis player from Mexico. He was captain of Mexico's Davis Cup side. Today he is a businessman. Career Fernandez had a good year on the juniors circuit in 1990, finishing the season as the number three junior in the world. He was runner-up to Andrei Medvedev in the Orange Bowl and made the semi-finals of the boys' singles event at the 1990 Australian Open. The man who beat him in the semi-final, Dirk Dier, had been his doubles partner when he made the 1989 US Open boys' doubles quarter-finals. Also in 1990, Fernandez represented the Mexico Davis Cup team for the first time. He managed to defeat Marcelo Filippini of Uruguay in Mexico's World Group player-off win and appeared in three further ties during his career, from which he had two wins, over Diego Pérez and then Jaime Yzaga. Thomas Muster (born 2 October 1967) is an Austrian former world No. 1 tennis player. One of the world's leading clay court players in the 1990s, he won the 1995 French Open and at his peak was called "The King of Clay". In addition, he won eight Masters 1000 Series titles. Muster is one of the nine players to win Super 9/ATP Masters Series/ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles on clay, hardcourt and carpet. Leonardo Lavalle Moreno (born 14 July 1967) is a former tennis player from Mexico, who turned professional in 1985. Doug Eisenman (born October 2, 1968) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Eisenman, a doubles specialist, comes from Santa Ana, California. He attended Foothill High School, where in 1986 he was ''Los Angeles Times'' First Team All-County. He teamed up with Dan Turbow to win the doubles title at the 1986 National Junior Hardcourts Championships. Between 1987 and 1990 he attended UC Berkeley. Luis-Enrique Herrera (born 27 August 1971) is a Mexican former professional tennis player. Career Herrera was Mexico's national champion in the 12s, 14s and 16s junior events. He partnered Mark Knowles in the Boys' Doubles at the 1989 French Open and they finished runners-up. He broke into the top 100 for the first time in 1991, after some good performances on the ATP Tour. Herrera reached the semi-final of the Seoul Open and the quarter-final in Washington.
