Alfredo Olivas (born October 1, 1994, in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico) is a Regional Mexican singer-songwriter, specializing in the styles of banda, pacific norteño, norteño-banda, and mariachi. He is popularly known as "Alfredito", "Alfredito Olivas" (little Alfredo) or "el Patroncito" (after a song on the eponymous album ''El Patroncito'', 2011). Career Since the age of 9, Alfredo Olivas has written over 1,000 songs and released dozens of singles on independent labels. He signed to Fonovisa Records at the age of 16, releasing ''El Patroncito'' (his first solo album) in 2011. In 2014, Olivas moved to Sony's imprint Sahuaro Music. Daniel Anthony Olivas (born April 8, 1959, in Los Angeles, California) is an American author and attorney. Biography Daniel Olivas was raised near downtown Los Angeles, the middle of five children and the grandson of Mexican immigrants. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle grammar school, and then Loyola High School. Olivas received his BA in English literature from Stanford University and Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Olivas met fellow law student, Susan Formaker at UCLA and they married in 1986. They have one son. Olivas has practiced law with the California Department of Justice as a deputy and supervising deputy attorney general, and as a senior assistant attorney general, since 1990. Jose Luis Olivas Martinez (born 13 October 1952 in Motilla del Palancar, Cuenca) is a Spanish politician of the People's Party. He was named the third president of the Valencian Government (the first not to have been chosen in elections) when Eduardo Zaplana moved to Madrid in 2002. A year later he was replaced by Francisco Camps, who took over the leadership of the party in the Valencian Community. Olivas decided then to pursue a business career. In 2003 he was appointed president of Banco de Valencia, in 2004 president of Bancaja and in 2010 vice president of Bankia (a bank created by the merger of Caja Madrid, Bancaja and others). Sal Olivas (born c. 1946) is a former American football player. A native of El Paso, Texas, Olivas attended Cathedral High School in that city. He played college football for the New Mexico State Aggies football team from 1964 to 1967. As a senior in 1967, he led all NCAA major college players in both total offense yards (2,190) and passing yards (2,225), and ranked second in the NCAA in pass attempts (321) and passing touchdowns (19). Olivas Adobe
The Olivas Adobe in Ventura, California is an adobe structure built in 1837 by Raymundo Olivas on the north bank of the Santa Clara River about a mile from the estuary where it flows into the Santa Barbara Channel. Olivas received, in recognition of his service at the Presidio of Santa Barbara, approximately as part of land grant from Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado in 1841, which he named Rancho San Miguel. The land had originally been part of grazing area for the cattle herds of Mission San Buenaventura but was appropriated during the secularization of the missions lands. Olivas built the adobe home in 1837, and expanded it in 1849 to two stories, making it the only such building in the area. He and his wife and their 21 children lived here until 1899. It later became Max Fleischmann's hunting lodge (of yeast and margarine fame). After his death, his foundation donated the land and the house to the City of Ventura.
