Oliana
Oliana is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the Segre valley immediately below the Oliana reservoir. There is a factory of domestic electrical appliances in the town, and the presence of non-farming employment has meant that Oliana has escaped the depopulation experienced by most municipalities in north-west Catalonia. It is currently the second-largest town (by population) in the Alt Urgell, behind the comarcal capital La Seu d'Urgell. The town is served by the C-14 road between Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell. Demography Subdivisions The municipality of Oliana includes two outlying villages. La Dura Dura
''La Dura Dura'' is a sport climbing route on the limestone cliffs at Peramola, a village in Oliana, Spain. The route was bolted and developed by American climber Chris Sharma in 2009 who had almost given up believing he could climb it until a collaboration with Czech climber Adam Ondra led to Ondra climbing the route on 7 February 2013, followed by Sharma on 23 March 2013. ''La Dura Dura'' became one of the List of first ascents (sport climbing)#Redpointed by men, first rock climbs in the world to achieve a grade of , and was the first consensus grade at that level (i.e. more than one climber agreed to it). The route has not been repeated since Ondra's and Sharma's 2013 ascents. Fígols I Alinyà
Fígols i Alinyà is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Segre river between Coll de Nargó and Organyà, just above the Oliana reservoir. The municipality was formed in 1972 by the merger of the municipalities of Fígols d'Organyà and Alinyà: the ''ajuntament'' (town hall) is in Fígols. A local road links the municipality with Organyà. Coll De Nargó
Coll de Nargó is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Urgell in Catalonia, a region of Spain. It is situated in the Segre valley by the Oliana reservoir. The municipality is served by the C-14 road between Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell, the L-511 road to Isona and the L-401 road to Sant Llorenç de Morunys. The Romanesque church of Sant Climent dates from the eleventh century, and has a rectangular pre-Romanesque bell-tower. Bassella
Bassella is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Urgell, in Catalonia, Spain. The village of Bassella, one of nine settlement which make up the municipality, is located at the confluence of the Segre river with the Salada river and at the point where the route from Solsona and the potash mines of Cardona (currently the L-301 road) meets the route between Lleida and La Seu d'Urgell (currently the C-1313 road). The ''ajuntament'' (town hall) is located in Castellnou de Bassella. The municipality extends to both sides of the Segre river at the southern extremity of the Alt Urgell.
