Olhunuvi Hiyy
''Olhunuvi Hiyy'' is a 1998 Maldivian film written, produced and directed by Yoosuf Rafeeu. Produced by Bukhari Studio, the film stars Ahmed Azim, Mariyam Nisha and Shazuna in pivotal roles. Premise Sheeba (Mariyam Nisha) is a young attractive woman working at a restaurant as a waitress. One night, on her way back to home after duty, she was assaulted by one of her pervert customers, and is saved by the cleaner working at the restaurant, Rishwan (Ahmed Azim) a polite, obedient and reticent orphan who is considered an ignorant and mindless man by the rest of their staff. Soon after, a romantic relationship begins between them, while Sheeba's friend, Aathi sets her with a customer who has deeply fallen in love with Sheeba, Zubeyru (Hamid), a wealthy man. Rishwan, a heart patient, catches them together and becomes restless. Soon after, Sheeba finds out that Zubeyru is a two-faced villain who has recently fled from Police and hence breaks up with him. Mariyam Nisha
Mariyam Nisha (born 19 May 1979) is a Maldivian former actress. Early life Nisha was born on 19 May 1979 in Dh. Rinbudhoo. She recalled her childhood days as a "disturbing chapter" of life where she had to refrain from enjoying with friends due to a skin problem. At the age of twelve, she got married and a year later, they were blessed with their first child. Career 1994–99: Early releases and ''Haqqu'' At the age of fourteen, Nisha made her screen debut with the video song "Gendhanyaa Gendhavaashey" alongside Malik Mohamed. Arifa Ibrahim
Arifa Ibrahim (born 22 June 1955) is a Maldivian actress, producer, director and writer. Early life Daughter of late Ibrahim Fulhu and late Fathma Fulhu, Arifa Ibrahim was born on 22 June 1955. She got married at the age of fourteen and is blessed with five daughters and one son. During her early life, Arifa was famous for stencil designing. Mohamed Rashad
Mohamed Rashad (1952 – 2002) also referred as Madhaha Rashad was a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Rashad was born in 1952 in Male'. His father, Qasim Hussain was famously known for locals as "Naivaadhoo Kasim" and "Reendhoo Kasim". His mother, Hawwa Idhurees was a homemaker. He had one brother as a sibling and ten others as half-siblings including notable local artists, Ali Rameez, Ibrahim Rameez and Rafiyath Rameeza. At a very young age, persuaded by his "undying love for music", Rashad was accompanied by the music group "Maafannu Fiyaathoshi Club" to lift and transport their music instruments. Fathimath Zoona (20 October 1965) is a Maldivian singer and a recipient of several awards including one Gaumee Film Award and one Aafathis Award. Early life and career Fathimath Zoona was born on 20 October 1965 in Male'. During her childhood days, she frequently listened to old Bollywood songs and decided to pursue a career in music industry. In 1994, she participated in the "Basic Voice Training Course" which resulted in her receiving several offers from music directors and producers to sing for their films, albums, advertisements and national events.
