Olga Buyanova
Olga Vladimirovna Buyanova (russian: Ольга Владимировна Буянова; born March 27, 1954 in Irkutsk, RSFSR) is an Honored Master of Sports coach in Rhythmic gymnastics of the USSR and Russia. Personal life Olga Vladimirovna is married to Anatoly Buyanov, the director of the Youth Sports School of rhythmic gymnastics in Irkutsk. They have two sons. Coaching career Buyanova was the head coach of the Italian national team in rhythmic gymnastics for six years until her departure and return to Irkutsk. She coaches at the sports school for rhythmic gymnastics in Dinamo Irkutsk. Rhythmic Gymnastics
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. It became an Olympic sport in 1984, with an individual all-around event. The group all-around competition was added to the Olympics in 1996. Darya Andreyevna Dmitriyeva ( rus, Дарья Андреевна Дмитриева, , ˈdarʲɪ̯ə ˈdmʲitrʲɪ(ɪ̯)ɪvə; born 22 June 1993) is a Russian rhythmic gymnast. Personal life In May 2015, Dmitriyeva married ice hockey player Alexander Radulov who currently is playing for Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Oksana Alexandrovna Kostina (russian: Оксана Александровна Костина; 15 April 1972 – 11 February 1993) was a Soviet and Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She was the 1992 World All-around champion and 1992 European All-around bronze medalist. Career For years, Kostina remained in the shadow of two Ukrainian gymnasts, Oksana Skaldina and Olexandra Tymoshenko. Though she won the all-around bronze medal at the 1992 European Championships, she was not selected for the Olympic Games in Barcelona. Kostina and her coach, Olga Buyanova, frustrated by what they felt was the Unified Team's favoritism toward Skaldina, traveled to Barcelona and Kostina trained with the British team for a short time before the Russian Federation ordered her home. Natalia Lipkovskaya (russian: Наталья Викторовна Липковская, born 26 April 1979) is a Russian retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 1997 World All-around silver medalist and the 1997 Grand Prix Final All-around champion. She was coached by Olga Buyanova. Personal life Lipkovskaya holds a degree in psychology. She now works as a psychologist working for the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. Career Lipkovskaya began gymnastics training in 1983.
