Ole Qvist
Ole Qvist (born 25 February 1950 in Copenhagen) is a Danish former professional footballer who played a goalkeeper for Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and earned 39 caps with the Denmark national team from 1979 to 1986. He played all of Denmark's four matches at the 1984 European Championships. He was also an unused player at the 1986 FIFA World Cup team. Throughout his playing career he continued to work as a Police Officer in the Traffic Divisions motorcycle unit. His son Lasse Qvist Lasse Qvist (born January 17, 1987) is a Danish professional football player, who plays as a striker for GVI. Hans Qvist (cartoonist)
Hans Qvist (c. 1735 – 12 February 1810) was a Danish engraver. Early life and education Qvist was probably born in Copenhagen. He apprenticed as an engraver under Jonas Haas and Odvardt Helmoldt von Lode. Haas sued him for having left his workshop to set up his own without the Royal Art Academy's approval but the dispute seems ultimately to have been settled outside the courtroom. Career Qvist completed a substantial number of prospects for Johan Jacob Bruun's ''Novus Atlas Daniæ'' in 1761. These are believed to be his first independent works. He worked for the Royal Bank in around 1765–85. He created most of the engravings for Bruuns work as well as some of the leads for ''Danske Atlas''. He created four of the prints for Erik Pontoppidan the Younger in 1764. He made a map of Copenhagen County for the Royal Academy of Science in 1766–69. Lasse Qvist (born January 17, 1987) is a Danish professional football player, who plays as a striker for GVI. Life and career Born in Roskilde, Qvist started playing football in local clubs Himmelev-Veddelev BK and KFUM Roskilde. From his early years, Lasse Qvist was a fan of F.C. Copenhagen (FCK), and as an 8-year-old boy, he had an FCK-shirt with the number 11 and his name printed on the back. Aged 14, he switched to the bigger club Lyngby BK and went on to play for various Danish youth national teams. He scored 18 goals in 20 matches for the Danish under-17 national team, and won the 2003 Danish ''Under-17 Player of the Year'' award.
