Ole Bischof
Ole Bischof (born 27 August 1979 in Reutlingen) is a German judoka. He is trained by 1984 Olympic gold medalist Frank Wieneke. Biography Bischof began in the TSG Reutlingen with judo. He became German champion at the age of 18 in 1997 in the age-group U21. Four years later, in 2001, he won the title of German champion in the Men's category. Following this, he won medals on more international competitions and became 2005 European champion. Since 2001, Bischof has been competing in the team competitions for the TSV Abensberg. With the TSV Abensberg, he became team champion and 2006 European cup winner from 2002 to 2008. For the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens, Ole was replaced Florian Wanner. Bischof was the best placed German in the world rankings, with Wanner holding the title of world champion (2003 in Osaka/Japan). During the Olympics, Ole defeated judokas such as Tiago Camilo who was the silver medallist in Sydney 2000 and Roman Gontyuk, the silver medallist of Athens 2 ...

Reutlingen
Reutlingen (; ) is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is the capital of the eponymous Reutlingen (district), district of Reutlingen. As of June 2018, it had an estimated population of 116,456. Reutlingen has a Reutlingen University, university of applied sciences, which was founded in 1855, originally as a weavers' school. Today, Reutlingen is a home to an established textile industry and also houses machinery, leather goods and steel manufacturing facilities. International Judo Federation
The International Judo Federation (IJF) is the international governing body for judo, founded in July 1951. Today the IJF has 200 National Federations on all continents. There are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the IJF. History On July 11, 1951 in London, the representatives of the European Judo Union (Great Britain, France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland) received the candidacy of Argentina and the International Judo Federation was created. The Italian Aldo Torti became the first President of the IJF. Countries from four continents were affiliated over the next ten years. Since 2009, IJF has organized yearly World Championships and the World Judo Tour consisting of five Grand Prix, four Grand Slams, a master tournament, and a Continental open tournament.
