Olaf Øen
Olaf Øen (5 July 1925 – 29 January 2009) was a Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. Born in Nes, Buskerud, he was first elected to local office as a member of Nes, Buskerud, Nes municipal council (Norway), municipal council in 1955, serving until 1979 and again from 1995 to 1999. He was mayor from 1963 to 1977. From 1963 to 1971 he was also a member of Buskerud county council (Norway), county council. He chaired the local party chapter from 1954 to 1962 and 1979 to 1981. He was elected to the Storting, Norwegian Parliament from Buskerud in 1977, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the term 1973–1977, the last year of which he served as a regular representative meanwhile Ragnar Christiansen was appointed to the cabinet Nordli. Nes, Buskerud
Nesbyen is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Viken (county), Viken Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Hallingdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Nesbyen. The parish of ''Næs'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Buskerud
Buskerud () is a former county and a current electoral district in Norway, bordering Akershus, Oslo, Oppland, Sogn og Fjordane, Hordaland, Telemark and Vestfold. The region extends from the Oslofjord and Drammensfjorden in the southeast to Hardangervidda mountain range in the northwest. The county administration was in modern times located in Drammen. Buskerud was merged with Akershus and Østfold into the newly created Viken County on 1 January 2020. Ragnar Christiansen
Ragnar Karl Viktor Christiansen (28 December 1922 in Drammen – 17 February 2019) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Early life He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway during the terms 1950–1953 and 1954–1957. When taking seat as a deputy in Parliament in 1950, at the age of 27 he was the youngest MP in Norway ever. He was later elected to Parliament from Buskerud in 1957, and was re-elected four times to serve five terms. Christiansen held several ministerial portfolios through the years; he was appointed Minister of Finance in 1971–1972 during Bratteli's First Cabinet and Minister of Transport and Communications in 1976–1978 during Nordli's Cabinet.
