Ragnar Christiansen
Ragnar Karl Viktor Christiansen (28 December 1922 in Drammen – 17 February 2019) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Early life He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway during the terms 1950–1953 and 1954–1957. When taking seat as a deputy in Parliament in 1950, at the age of 27 he was the youngest MP in Norway ever. He was later elected to Parliament from Buskerud in 1957, and was re-elected four times to serve five terms. Christiansen held several ministerial portfolios through the years; he was appointed Minister of Finance in 1971–1972 during Bratteli's First Cabinet and Minister of Transport and Communications in 1976–1978 during Nordli's Cabinet. During the first tenure he was replaced in Parliament by Egil Solin Ranheim; during the second period he was replaced by Olaf Øen. Minister Of Transport And Communications (Norway)
The Minister of Transport ( no, Samferdelsministeren) is a Councillor of State and Chief of the Norwegian Ministry of Transport. The post has been held by Jon-Ivar Nygård of the Labour Party since 2021. The ministry is responsible for policy and public operations within postal services, telecommunications, civil aviation, public roads, rail transport and public transport, including ferry services that are part of national roads and coastal transport infrastructure. Leif Haraldseth
Leif Haraldseth (30 November 1929 – 8 April 2019) was a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Labour Party. Early life He was born in Drammen as a son of worker Hans Haraldseth (1905–1977) and housewife Ingrid (1907–1999). He finished secondary education in 1947, was a delivery boy in the Norwegian State Railways for two years, then attended the Railway School and worked as a telegrapher in the State Railways from 1951 til 1965. Trade unionism and politics In 1965 he was hired as district secretary of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions in Buskerud. In 1969 he was promoted to secretary and in 1977 to vice chairman of the organization. On both occasions he replaced Odd Højdahl. From 1986 to 1987 he was the Minister of Local Government in Brundtland's Second Cabinet. He then headed the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions from 1987 to 1989. Gunnar Alf Larsen (27 December 1919 – 24 December 2003) was a Norwegian Labour Party politician. He was born in Oslo. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 1965, and was re-elected on two occasions. Norwegian State Railways
Vygruppen, branded as Vy, is a government-owned railway company which operates most passenger train services and many bus services in Norway. The company is owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport. Its sub-brands include Vy Buss coach services, CargoNet freight trains and the Swedish train transport company Tågkompaniet. In 2009, NSB carried 52 million train passengers and 104 million bus passengers. On 24 April 2019, passenger train and bus services were rebranded as Vy. The company was established as the Norwegian State Railways (1883–1996). A county council ( no, Fylkesting) is the highest governing body of a county municipality (''fylkeskommune'') in Norway. The county council sets the scope of the county municipal activity. The council is led by the Chairman of the County Council, more commonly called a County Mayor (''fylkesordfører''). Buskerud County Municipality
Buskerud County Municipality ( no, Buskerud fylkeskommune) was the regional governing administration of the old Buskerud county in Norway. The county municipality was established in its most recent form on 1 January 1976 when the law was changed to allow elected county councils in Norway. The county municipality was dissolved on 1 January 2020, when Buskerud was merged with the neighboring counties of Akershus and Østfold, creating the new Viken county which is led by the Viken County Municipality. Nedre Eiker was a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Buskerud Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Eiker.
