Matthew Nwabueze Okoh (born May 19, 1972) is a former U.S.-Nigerian soccer player and currently assistant coach of the DSU Hornets Women. His playing career spanned eight years and took him from the United States to Brazil, Germany and Portugal. Since retiring from playing, Okoh has devoted himself to coaching collegiate soccer. Nicholas Dikeriehi Orogodo Okoh (born 10 November 1952, at Owa-Alero in the Delta State) is the former archbishop of Abuja Province and Primate (bishop), primate of the Church of Nigeria in the Anglican Communion. He retired on 25 March 2020. He has been married to Nkasiobi Amaechi since 1986 and they have five children. Ecclesiastical career The son of poor peasant farmers, his initial education was at St. Michael's (Anglican) School, in Owa-Alero, from 1958 to 1964, when he got his First School Leaving Certificate. He worked then for four years at his uncle's business, until starting his own. He joined the Nigerian Army in 1969, having not yet been confirmed. He fought in the Nigerian Civil War in 1970, losing his faith at the end of hostilities. He had a sudden conversion in early 1971, reading then the entire Bible. Agnes Okoh (May 1905 – March 10, 1995) was a Nigerian, an Igbo of humble origin, who became a Christian evangelist. She was the founder of Christ Holy Church International, an African Independent Church in Nigeria. Early life Agnes Okoh was born in Ndoni in Rivers State, Nigeria in 1905, the only survivor of thirteen children born to Onumba Emordi, a farmer, and Ntonefu, a trader. She received little or no schooling and was illiterate; her parents were not Christian, but she would occasionally attend the Catholic church in Ndoni. After her parents had died, she moved to live with relatives in Asaba City in Delta State, where in 1924 she married James Okoh, a Ghanaian sailor. They had two children, Anyetei and Anyele, and her husband died in 1930. Then her daughter Anyele died in 1938, after which she suffered from severe migraines and depression. Nicolette (full name Nicolette Love Suwoton, born 1964) is a Scottish singer-songwriter of Nigerian parentage, residing in London for most of her life, and has also lived in Nigeria, Switzerland, France, and Belgium. Her music, although falling broadly into the field of electronica, is characterised by many influences, including, jazz, classical, blues, folk and African.
