Eve Oja
Eve Oja (10 October 1948 – 27 January 2019) was an Estonian mathematician specializing in functional analysis. She was a professor at the University of Tartu. Early life and education Oja was born in Tallinn and studied at the Tartu State University (now the University of Tartu), completing her undergraduate studies in 1972 and earning a doctorate ( Cand.Sc.) in 1975. Her dissertation, ''Безусловные шаудеровы разложения в локально выпуклых пространствах'' (''Unconditional Schauder decompositions in locally convex spaces'') was supervised by Gunnar Kangro. Career Oja was on the faculty of the University of Tartu since 1975, with a year (1977-78) teaching in Mali, and another (1980-81) doing postdoctoral research at Aix-Marseille University in France. She served several terms as head of the Institute of Pure Mathematics at the university, and from 2009-15 she headed the Estonian School of Mathematics and Statistics. ...

Oja Kodar ( ; born Olga Palinkaš; 1941) is a Croatian actress, screenwriter and director known as Orson Welles's romantic partner during the later years of his life. Personal life Olga Palinkaš was born in Zagreb to a Hungarian father and a Croatian mother. She met Welles in 1961 in Zagreb, Croatia, Yugoslavia, when Welles was on location shooting ''The Trial'', released the following year. Welles, married to his third wife Paola Mori, took a liking to the "dark, beautiful and exotic-looking" Palinkaš. Soon after their romance took off, Welles gave her a stage name, Oja Kodar, which is a mixture of the nickname "Oja", used by her sister Nina, and the Croatian expression "" ("as a present"). Tasuja Oja
Tasuja Oja (born Benedikt Oskar Oja; 5 August 1888, in Kuivajõe – 1946, in Leningrad Oblast, Russia) was an Estonian politician, civil servant and educator. He was a member of the II and III Riigikogu, representing the Estonian Labour Party. He was a member of the Riigikogu since 18 July 1923. He replaced Arnold Schulbach. Oja was arrested by the Soviet occupation authorities on 9 December 1944 in Rannamõisa where he was employed as a schoolmaster. He was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. Silva Oja (since 1986, Silvia Rahnel; born 17 January 1961) is an Estonian athletics competitor. She was born in Pärnu. In 1984 she graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical Institute's Faculty of Physical Education. She began athletics training in 1968, coached by Linda Rannap. Since 1979 her coach was Hans Torim. Rein Oja (born 26 February 1956) is an Estonian actor, film director and theatre leader. Rein Oja was born in Tallinn. He is the older brother of actor Tõnu Oja.
