Oggiono ( Brianzöö: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,194 and an area of .All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat. The municipality of Oggiono contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bagnolo, Imberido, Laguccio, Miravalle and Peslago. Oggiono borders the following municipalities: Annone di Brianza, Dolzago, Ello, Galbiate, Molteno and Sirone. Lago di Annone is located on its borders. Trenord is a railway company which is responsible for the operation of regional passenger trains in Lombardy. The company was established by the two main railway companies in Lombardy, Trenitalia and Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM), to manage train operations in the region. The equity is equally divided between the two companies. History ''Trenitalia LeNord'' (TLN) was founded in Milan on 4 August 2009 from the merging of LeNord, company owned by FNM, and the Lombardy regional division of Trenitalia. The first step of the new company was the opening of a new maintenance and cleaning center for trains in Lombardy, the biggest in Italy. Lecco railway station ( it, Stazione di Lecco) is the main station serving the town and ''comune'' of Lecco, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Opened in 1863, it is the terminus of five lines, namely to Bergamo, to Como, to Milan, to Molteno and Monza and to Tirano. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). Milan Suburban Railway Network
The Milan S Lines constitute the commuter rail system serving the metropolitan area of Milan, Italy. The system comprises 11 lines serving 124 stations, for a total length of 403 km. There are 415 trains per day with a daily ridership of about 230,000. The core of the system is the Passante, an underground railway running through the city approximately from the north-west to the south-east. Several lines share this track, making the service in the city centre comparable to a metro line. The service timetable is based on a clock-face scheduling. Although operated by different companies, the Milan Metro and the suburban rail service have integrated tickets. Network Lines in darker background run through the Milan Passante railway.
