Reinhard Oehme (; born 26 January 1928, Wiesbaden; died sometime between 29 September and 4 October 2010, Hyde Park) was a German-American physicist known for the discovery of C (charge conjugation) non-conservation in the presence of P ( parity) violation, the formulation and proof of hadron dispersion relations, the "Edge of the Wedge Theorem" in the function theory of several complex variables, the Goldberger-Miyazawa-Oehme sum rule, reduction of quantum field theories, Oehme-Zimmermann superconvergence relations for gauge field correlation functions, and many other contributions. Oehme was born in Wiesbaden, Germany as the son of Dr. Reinhold Oehme and Katharina Kraus. In 1952, in São Paulo, Brazil, he married Mafalda Pisani, who was born in Berlin as the daughter of Giacopo Pisani and Wanda d'Alfonso. Mafalda died in Chicago in August of the year 2004. Wolfgang Oehme
Wolfgang Oehme (May 18, 1930 Chemnitz, Germany – December 15, 2011, Towson, Maryland) was a German-American landscape architect. Early life Oehme grew up in Wissmannhof in Chemnitz. After leaving school in 1947, he began an apprenticeship at the Illge nursery. Upon completing his apprenticeship, he worked in an urban garden office, where he was a landscape architect with Hans-Joachim Bauer, and became familiar with the landscaping ideas of Karl Foerster. From 1952, he worked at the Spaeth nursery in Baumschulenweg in East Berlin. Oehme studied from 1952 to 1954 in Dahlem with a scholarship in landscape architecture. In 1953, he helped on the site of the International Garden Festival in Old Elbpark in Hamburg to create trenches. He admired the designer of the Expo, Karl Plomin. Oehme moved in 1953 to West Berlin. Ernst Ferdinand Oehme (23 April 1797, Dresden – 10 April 1855, Dresden) was a German Romantic painter and illustrator who specialized in moody landscapes with architectural elements. Life He originally attended the Friedrichstadt teacher training college and worked as an assistant to a "Torschreiber" (a combination gate keeper and tax collector). After beginning as an auto-didact, with some help from Carl Wagner, he enrolled at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts in 1819, where he studied with the Danish painter Johan Christian Clausen Dahl, who had recently settled there. He soon became acquainted with the work of Dahl's friend Caspar David Friedrich. Ernst Erwin Oehme (18 September 1831 in Dresden – 10 October 1907 in Blasewitz) was a German painter known mainly for his oils and watercolor paintings of landscapes, architectural views, genre scenes and portraits. Biography He was son and pupil of Ernst Ferdinand Oehme, a landscape painter. He attended the Dresden Academy of Art, and for a short time worked under Ludwig Richter, after which he made an artistic tour through Germany, Switzerland, England and France. His studies of nature during his travels were the main influence on his style. Works He painted, in oils and watercolors, landscapes, architectural views, genre and portraits. Felix Oehme (born 1981) is a German yachtsman. Sportive successes End of 2006, Oehme sailed with a five-man crew over the Atlantic and received the second prize of the Stiftung Hochseesegeln (Foundation for High Seas Sailing) for this performance. In September 2006 and 2008 he successfully represented Germany at the World University Match race. Furthermore, he ranked among the top five in several international races for class 49 boats, including the national German championship. On November 16, 2008 Oehme and his co-skipper Boris Herrmann forming the Beluga Offshore Sailing Team won the Portimão Global Ocean Race, a five leg regatta around the world for class 40 boats.
