The Obion County Courthouse is a historic building in Union City, Tennessee. It serves as the courthouse of Obion County, Tennessee. The building was the third courthouse built for Obion County. The first one was built in Troy, Tennessee in 1890 and subsequently moved to Union City. A second courthouse was built in Union City. The third and current courthouse was built in 1939. With The building was designed in the PWA Moderne architectural style by Marr & Holman. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 30, 1995. It is the principal urban settlement of the surrounding micropolitan area, which includes Obion County and Fulton County, Kentucky. Marr & Holman was an architectural firm in Nashville, Tennessee known for their traditional design. Notable buildings include the Nashville Post Office (now known as the Frist Art Museum) and the Milliken Memorial Community House in Elkton, Kentucky. The firm was formed in 1913 with Joseph Holman (1890–1952) and Thomas Marr (1866–1936) as principals. A number of their works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
