''O Amor Está no Ar'' is a Brazilian telenovela produced and televised by TV Globo, March 31 to September 6, 1997, in 137 chapters. Synopsis The story takes place in the quiet and fictional city of Ouro Velho. Sofia Schneider ( Betty Lago) is an exuberant woman of great class, intelligence, and solid ethical values inherited from her Jewish family, who emigrated to Brazil after the war. After the death of her husband, the aristocrat Victor Sousa Carvalho (Wolf Maya), Sofia takes over the business of the company Estrela Dourada, which explores water tourism in the local dam. But his mother-in-law, Úrsula (Nicette Bruno), does not accept the situation and begins a contest for control of the Sousa Carvalho family business. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Dan Filip Stulbach (born September 26, 1969) is a Brazilian actor, television presenter, director and artistic director. Biography He is the first member of a small family of Polish Jewish immigrants to be born in Brazil. He has only one sister, who is a nutritionist and mother of his only nephew. At home, he grew up listening to the Polish language and stories his grandfather told him about life in Poland, devastated during World War II. Lupe Gigliotti
Lupe Gigliotti (1 July 1926 – 19 December 2010) was a Brazilian television, stage, and film actress. Gigliotti was born Maria Paula Viana Lupicina in Maranguape, Ceará, Brazil, on 1 July 1926. She was the sister of Brazilian actor and comedian Chico Anysio and the aunt of actor Marcos Palmeira. She began acting professionally during the 1960s, appearing in 11 films during her career. Gigliotti became famous for her role as Dona Escolástica on the comedic television show, ''Escolinha do Professor Raimundo''. She played Signora Botega in the 1984 American film ''Blame It on Rio''. Flávio Migliaccio
Flávio Migliaccio (26 August 1934 – 4 May 2020) was a Brazilian actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 90 films and television shows between 1958 and 2019. His 1962 film ''The Beggars'' was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. His elder sister Dirce Migliaccio was also an actress. Migliaccio was found dead by his property caretaker at his farm in Rio Bonito, Rio de Janeiro, on 4 May 2020, aged 85.
