OMG (group)
OMG (initialism of "Officially Miss Guided") is an American teen pop girl group, initially known as the OMG Girlz. Their name is a play-on words, it represents being young ladies "Miss" that are "Guided" in positive ways. Formed in 2009, by Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, the Atlanta-based girl group performed publicly for the first time on an episode of BET's ''Tiny and Toya'' reality television series. They also have made appearances on the 2012 series '' T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.'' Their mission is to inspire throughout the world and let them know they could stand together as friends, teens, and young women. They are possibly best known for their singles "Can't Stop Loving You", "Where the Boys At?", and "Gucci This (Gucci That)". Girl Group
A girl group is a music act featuring several female singers who generally harmonize together. The term "girl group" is also used in a narrower sense in the United States to denote the wave of American female pop music singing groups, many of whom were influenced by doo-wop and which flourished in the late 1950s and early 1960s between the decline of early rock and roll and start of the British Invasion. All-female bands, in which members also play instruments, are usually considered a separate phenomenon. ''Jagged Little Thrill'' is the third studio album by American R&B group Jagged Edge. It was released by So So Def and Columbia on June 26, 2001, in the United States. The album's name is a spin on Alanis Morissette's album '' Jagged Little Pill'' (1995). The album debuted at number 3 on the ''Billboard'' 200 with first-week sales of 215,000 copies in the US, outranking their previous album, '' J.E. Heartbreak'' (1999) which had peaked at number eighth on the chart; the album is the group's highest peaking album to date (tied with '' Hard''). Jagged Edge (American Group)
Jagged Edge is an American R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia. The group, initially signed to record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, is best known for their string of hit singles including " Let's Get Married" and "Where the Party At" (featuring Nelly), most of which were produced by Dupri. The group's members include identical twin lead singers Brian and Brandon Casey as well as Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman. The group's debut album, ''A Jagged Era'' (1997), performed modestly at the time of its release but achieved gold status; however, their subsequent albums until 2007 all became commercial successes—debuting within the top 10 of the ''Billboard'' 200. Wingo was a late addition to the group, added after a recommendation from Kandi Burruss of Xscape. Xscape (group)
Xscape is an American girl group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1991 by Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, LaTocha Scott, Tamera Coggins-Wynn, and Tamika Scott. The following year Coggins-Wynn left the group and Xscape became a quartet. They were discovered by Jermaine Dupri who signed the group to his So So Def label. The group released their debut album ''Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha'' in 1993, which spawned two of their biggest hits "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding". The album was certified Platinum on February 1, 1994. Xscape has sold more than 7 million records worldwide. The Family Hustle
''T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle'' is an American reality television series that aired on VH1 and premiered on December 5, 2011. The series concluded on May 29, 2017.
