OCP (film)
''OCP'' is a video artwork produced and directed by Mitch Stratten. The performance taking place inside an elaborate three tonne moving set allowed a puppeteer to synchronise the space with the unpredictable movement of the three characters contained. Engineering, construction and testing took place in a North London warehouse over three months preceding the film shoot completed in two days. The score was composed by Mitch Stratten (also known as ''Nodern'') and mastered by Denis Blackham in the Isle of Skye. The ambitious project had a modest budget of GBP 24,000 based on its IMDb entry. ''OCP'' was first released on the Sedition distribution platform curated online. The reception to ''OCP'' was positive and polarised with critical reviews from “an imaginative feat” to “beyond words” and “genius”. Isle Of Skye

An orifice plate is a device used for measuring flow rate, for reducing pressure or for restricting flow (in the latter two cases it is often called a '). Description An orifice plate is a thin plate with a hole in it, which is usually placed in a pipe. The study of how language influences thought has a long history in a variety of fields. There are two bodies of thought forming around this debate. One body of thought stems from linguistics and is known as the Sapir–Whorf hypothesis. Denis Blackham
Denis Blackham (born in 1952) is an English music mastering engineer. He began his audio mastering work in 1969 at IBC Studios in London, and later worked for Polygram, RCA, The Master Room, Nimbus Records, Tape One and George Peckham, Porky's. In 1996 he set up his own studio at his home in Surrey, England and when he moved to the Isle of Skye in 2002, he changed the name of his studio to Skye Mastering. In February 2022, Denis and Rose left Skye and relocated to southern Thailand. Denis has mastered recordings by: the Unthanks, Charlie Dore, and many more in his 50 plus years of music mastering. Blackham semi-retired on 5 May 2014. Blackham's courtship of his wife is the subject of a song by Charlie Dore on her 2017 album ''Dark Matter''.
