Nyambayaryn Tögstsogt
Tugstsogt Nyambayar ( mn, Нямбаярын Төгсцогт, translit=Nyambayaryn Tögstsogt; born 23 June 1992) is a Mongolian professional boxer who held the IBO featherweight title in 2019 and challenged for the WBC featherweight title in 2020. As an amateur, he won silver medals at the 2009 World Championships and 2012 London Olympics. As of June 2020, he is ranked as the world's seventh best active featherweight by ''The Ring'' and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. Amateur career He won the silver medal at the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships. After that, Nyambayar won the silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics, losing to the Cuban boxer Robeisy Ramírez by a score of 14:17 in the final. Claudio Marrero Guzman (born 6 March 1989) is a Dominican professional boxer who held the WBA interim, and IBO featherweight titles in 2017. Amateur career Marrero was the silver medalist at the 2007 Pan American Games in the bantamweight division. He came within one win of qualifying for the 2008 Summer Olympics, losing to Yankiel León of Cuba 12:1. Oscar Eduardo Escandón Berrío (born July 10, 1984) is a Colombian professional boxer who participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native South American country. He was the manager of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and has won the Boxing Writers of America Manager of the Year Award five times. 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships
The 2009 AIBA World Boxing Championships were held in Milan, Italy, from September 1, 2009 to September 12, 2009, in the Mediolanum Forum. It was the biggest World Championships in AIBA history. The competition was under the supervision of the world's governing body for amateur boxing, the AIBA. Originally, Cameroon, Trinidad and Tobago and Uzbekistan each expressed interest in hosting the championships. However, they did not submit a final application and were therefore withdrawn from the running. This left Italy and South Korea remaining, who were the final two countries in contention during the bidding process to host the 2009 championships. The city of Milan in Italy was then chosen to host the competition. Transnational Boxing Rankings Board
The Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB) is an all-volunteer initiative formed in October 2012 with the intention of providing professional boxing with authoritative top-ten rankings, identifying the singular world champion of every division by unbiased reasoning and common sense, and to insist on the sport's reform. Board members are independent professional journalists, boxing historians and record keepers from around the world. Their rankings and titles are meant to be uninfluenced by promoters and the traditional sanctioning bodies' paid-for " alphabet belts".
