Nuestra Belleza México 2004
The 11th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro Tangamanga of San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, Mexico September 11, 2004. Twenty-five contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Laura Elizondo from Tamaulipas, who later competed in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand where she was the 3rd Runner-up. Elizondo was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosalva Luna. She was the second Tamaulipeca and the first red hair to win this title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Dafne Molina from Mexico City, Distrito Federal, who later competed in Miss World 2005 in China where she was the 1st Runner-up. Laura Elizondo
Laura Elizondo Erhard (born 28 August 1983 in Tampico) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who represented her country at Miss Universe 2005. Beauty pageants On 10 September 2004, Elizondo participated in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza México, held in San Luis Potosí. Winning the national crown and becoming the second from the state of Tamaulipas to do so since the pageant first began in 1994, Elizondo obtained the title of Nuestra Belleza México, giving her the right to represent Mexico in the Miss Universe pageant. There she finished as 3rd runner-up to Natalie Glebova of Canada. She also placed 3rd in Best National Costume. Elizondo stated that although she did not win, she was satisfied with the results as well as her accomplishments within the competition. Nuestra Belleza México 2005, the 12th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Antiguo Taller de Locomotoras of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico on September 2, 2005. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Priscila Perales from Nuevo León, who later competed in Miss Universe 2006 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. Perales was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Laura Elizondo. She was the third Neoleonesa to win this title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Karla Jiménez from Puebla, who later competed in Miss World 2006 in Poland where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 17. Miss Universe 1996, the 45th Miss Universe pageant, was held on May 17, 1996 at Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Alicia Machado of Venezuela was crowned by Chelsi Smith from the United States at the end of the event. 79 contestants competed in this edition.This is the second time that Las Vegas to host Miss Universe since 1991. She is the fourth Venezuelan woman to win Miss Universe following Maritza Sayalero in 1979, Irene Sáez in 1981, and Barbara Palacios in 1986. The 2nd Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Teatro Morelos of Toluca, Estado de México, Mexico on October 22, 1995. Thirty-two contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Vanessa Guzmán from Chihuahua, who later competed at Miss Universe 1996 in US where she was finalist in the Top 6. Guzmán was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Luz María Zetina. She is the first blonde and only Chihuahuense to win this title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Alejandra Quintero from Nuevo León, who later competed at Miss World 1995 in South Africa where she was a semi-finalist in the Top 10. Vanessa Guzmán Niebla (born April 19, 1976, in Mexico City, Mexico), is a Mexican actress and model. She was Nuestra Belleza México in 1995, and represented her country in the 1996 Miss Universe pageant. Biography Vanessa Guzmán was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and at age 4 moved with her family to Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. In 1995, she competed for the title of ''Nuestra Belleza Chihuahua'' (Miss Chihuahua), title which she ended winning. Miss World 2005, the 55th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 10 December 2005 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China.
