Noșlac
Noșlac (german: Grosshaus; hu, Marosnagylak) is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Căptălan (''Maroskáptalan''), Copand (''Maroskoppánd''), Găbud (''Gábod''), Noșlac, Stâna de Mureș (''Maroscsúcs''), and Valea Ciuciului (''Zilahipatak''). Geography The commune lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the left bank of the river Mureș, close to where the river Fărău flows into the Mureș. Noșlac is located in the northeastern corner of Alba County, on the border with Cluj and Mureș counties. Transylvanian Plateau
The Transylvanian Plateau ( ro, Podișul Transilvaniei; hu, Erdélyi-medence) is a plateau in central Romania. The plateau lies within and takes its name from the historical region of Transylvania, and is almost entirely surrounded by the Eastern, Southern and Romanian Western branches of the Carpathian Mountains. The area includes the Transylvanian Plain. It is improperly called a plateau, for it does not possess extensive plains, but is formed of a network of valleys of various size, ravines and canyons, united together by numerous small mountain ranges, which attain a height of 150–250 m (500–800 ft) above the altitude of the valley. Ocna Mureș
Ocna Mureș (; la, Salinae, hu, Marosújvár, german: Miereschhall) is a town in Alba County, Romania, located in the north-eastern corner of the county, near the Mureș River. The town is situated next to a large deposit of salt, mined in the past until the ceiling of the mines collapsed from water infiltration in 1978. Ocna Mureș has a chlorosodic products plant, a salt extraction plant and a spa which uses the salty water from the former mines. The town administers five villages: Cisteiu de Mureș (''Magyarcsesztve''), Micoșlaca (''Miklóslaka''), Războieni-Cetate (''Székelyföldvár''), Uioara de Jos (until 1960 ''Ciunga''; ''Csongva'') and Uioara de Sus (''Felsőmarosújvár'').
