Catoosa County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 67,872. The county seat is Ringgold. The county was created on December 5, 1853. The meaning of the Cherokee language name "Catoosa" is obscure. Catoosa County is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Chattooga County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 24,965. According to the World Population Review, as of 2021, it is estimated at 24,803. The county seat is Summerville. The county was created on December 28, 1838. Dade County, Georgia
Dade County is a county in the U.S. state of Georgia. It occupies the northwest corner of Georgia, and the county's own northwest corner is the westernmost point in the state. As of the 2020 census, the population is 16,251. The county seat and only incorporated municipality is Trenton. Dade County is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Jeff Mullis
Jeffrey Eugene Mullis (December 27, 1959) is an American politician who is a former member of the Georgia State Senate. A member of the Republican Party, he represented the 53rd district from 2001 to 2023 after an unsuccessful run for state senator in 1998. Mullis is from Chickamauga. He currently serves as the Northwest Georgia Joint Development Authority Executive Director and the Top of Georgia Economic Development Chairman. He was appointed to the Stone Mountain Memorial Association board by Governor Kemp in 2023. He is married to Teresa Nichols, and has three children. In 2021, Mullis sponsored elections reform legislation in Georgia.
