Northeastern Military Command (Brazil)
The Northeastern Military Command is one of eight Military Commands of the Brazilian Army. The Northeastern Military Command or "''Comando Militar do Nordeste''" (CMNE) is responsible for the defence of the states Bahia, Sergipe, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Ceará, Piauí and Maranhão. Three Military Regional Commands are subordinated to the CML for administrative purposes. Fortaleza
Fortaleza (, locally , Portuguese for ''Fortress'') is the state capital of Ceará, located in Northeastern Brazil. It belongs to the Metropolitan mesoregion of Fortaleza and microregion of Fortaleza. Teresina
Teresina is the capital and most populous municipality in the Brazilian state of Piauí. Caicó
Caicó, also known as the City of Prince, is a municipality in the Seridó Ocidental microrregion and Central Potiguar mesorregion, in Rio Grande do Norte state, Northeast Brazil. With a population of 80,726 inhabitants (2021), it is the seventh most populous city of Rio Grande do Norte and the second in the countryside of the state, after Mossoró. Petrolina
Petrolina is a municipality located in the southernmost point of the state of Pernambuco, in Northeast Brazil, in the valley of the São Francisco River. Garanhuns
Garanhuns is a city in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. Maceió
Maceió (), formerly sometimes Anglicised as Maceio, is the capital and the largest city of the coastal state of Alagoas, Brazil. The name "Maceió" is an Indigenous term for a spring.
