North Edmonton Red Wings
The North Edmonton Red Wings are a Canadian Junior B ice hockey team located in Edmonton, Alberta. They play in the Capital Junior Hockey League, out of the Derry. Their head coach is Wally Corse. The Red Wings were the 2015 Alberta provincial Junior B champions, and lost to the Campbell River Storm of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League in the final of the 2015 Keystone Cup. The Thunder Bay Northern Hawks are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. They play in the Lakehead Junior Hockey League, formerly the Thunder Bay Junior B Hockey League. Selkirk Fishermen
The Selkirk Fishermen are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Selkirk, Manitoba. They are members of the Capital Region Junior Hockey League (CRJHL). The franchise was founded in 1917. They are the longest running junior hockey team in Canada. The Fishermen won the Abbott Cup in 1920, making them the Junior Champion for Western Canada and earning a playoff against the George Richardson Memorial Trophy winning Eastern Champion for the Memorial Cup. The Red Deer Vipers are a Junior "B" Ice Hockey team based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League (HJHL). They played their home games at Red Deer Arena until 2016 when it was torn down to be rebuilt. The Vipers played home games out of Red Deer's Collicutt Centre which only sat about 500 with standing room for a season & a half. Blackfalds Wranglers
The Sylvan Lake Wranglers are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League (HJHL). They play their home games at Nexsource Center. Prior to the 2007–08 season the team was known as the Lacombe Wranglers before re-locating to Blackfalds. Fairview Flyers
The Fairview Flyers are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Fairview, Alberta, Canada. The team is a member of the North West Junior Hockey League and the 2012–13 season was their inaugural season. History The team was founded as the Fairview Junior Hockey Club in June 2012. The expansion team was officially named the Fariview Flyers in July. In only their third year the Fairview Flyers advanced to the league finals. Although the Flyers lost the championships (they played the North Peace Navigators), circumstances resulted in the team advancing to the Russ Barnes Trophy to determine the Alberta Junior B Provincial Champion. Inaugural season The Fairview Flyers began their inaugural season on the road against the North Peace Navigators on September 28, 2012.
