North Carolina Highway 75
North Carolina Highway 75 (NC 75) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Its entire length runs through Union County and serves as the primary connector between the towns of Waxhaw, Mineral Springs, and Monroe. The route roughly parallels a CSX railroad line for its entire span. Route description NC 75 starts at the North Carolina-South Carolina state line, near Hancock, South Carolina. In South Carolina, it continues as SC 75 for to SC 5, in Van Wyck. Heading east from the state line, it becomes South Main Street in Waxhaw, where it connects with the southern terminus of NC 16, at Broome Street. Passing the Museum of the Waxhaws just outside town, it continues east to the town of Mineral Springs. It then goes northeast, passing Rocky River Road towards Monroe, where it ends abruptly at an auxiliary road to NC 200 (Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). North Carolina Highway 151 (NC 151) is a north-south state highway located in western Buncombe County. NC 151 provides a direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway from the west side of the Asheville vicinity. North Carolina Highway 53 (NC 53) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina that mainly runs west–east in the eastern part of the state. Route description The highway begins near Fayetteville in Cumberland County. It runs through mostly rural areas in Bladen County, Pender County, and Onslow County before emerging near Jacksonville. The NCDOT extended the highway in August 2010 along the NC 24 bypass around the southern side of the city, then continuing onto Western Boulevard. North Carolina Highway 90 (NC 90) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is one of the few highways in the state with an unpaved portion. Route description The western terminus is in Edgemont (in Caldwell County) at an intersection with Edgemont Road (SR 1420), Roseboro Road (Pisgah National Forest FR 981) and Edgemont Church Place (SR 1358). The first of the highway are quite curvy and unpaved. NC 90 enters Lenoir on Valway Road (SR 1352). The route then turns left onto N.
