Norbert Dobeleit
Norbert Dobeleit (born 17 July 1964) is a German television personality and retired athlete. During his active career he represented West Germany and specialized in the 200 and 400 metres. Biography Dobeleit was born in Renchen, Baden-Württemberg. At the 1987 World Championships he placed fifth in 4 x 100 metres relay and fourth in 4x400 metres relay. At the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, South Korea he helped win the 4 x 400 metres relay bronze medal with his teammates Edgar Itt, Jörg Vaihinger and Ralf Lübke. He won the 400 m race at the 1990 European Indoor Championships, and at the 1990 European Championships he finished fifth in 400 m and second in 4 × 400 m relay with teammates Klaus Just, Edgar Itt and Carsten Köhrbrück. His personal best time was 20.43 seconds, achieved in July 1987 in Rhede. Renchen ( gsw, label= Low Alemannic, Renche) is a small town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, part of the district of Ortenau. Bernard Hoff (born 10 January 1959) is a former East German sprinter who specialised in the 200 metres. Biography In 1977 he was European Junior 200-metre champion and 4×400 metres; he also won a Silver in 4×100 metres and Bronze in the 100 metres. He was East German 200-metre champion in 1977, 1979 and 1980. Eugen Ray (26 July 1957, in Gerbstedt, Bezirk Halle, East Germany – 18 January 1986, in Leipzig, East Germany) was an East German sprinter who ran in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Biography Ray established himself in the elite of world sprinting by setting a world junior 100 m record of 10.16 seconds. He was East German 100 metres champion in 1977, 1978, and 1980. In 1978 he also won the East German indoor 60 metres titles, as well as twice indoor 100 metre champion. He was European cup semi finalist 100 metre champion in 1975, 1977, and 1979. Sebastian Ernst (born 11 October 1984 in Gelsenkirchen) is a German sprinter who specializes in the 200 metres. His personal best time is 20.36 seconds, achieved during the heats at the 2004 Summer Olympics. This ranks him third among German 200m sprinters, only behind Tobias Unger and Frank Emmelmann. Frank Emmelmann (born 15 September 1961 in Groß Börnecke, Saxony-Anhalt) is a retired East German sprinter who specialized in the 100 and 200 metres. Biography In 1981 he was 2nd in the European cup final in the 100 metres, to the 1980 Moscow Olympic 100 metre Champion Allan Wells. But he went on to win the European cup 200 metres afterwards. He finished 3rd in the 100/200 in the "IAAF World cup" in Rome also that year. At the 1982 European Championships he won the 100 metres and finished third in the 200 metres. In the 4 x 100 metres relay he won a silver medal with teammates Thomas Munkelt, Detlef Kübeck and Olaf Prenzler. Carsten Köhrbrück (born 19 November 1967) is a retired German hurdler. Köhrbrück was born in Dortmund. He won the bronze medal at the 1985 European Junior Championships.
