Les Investissements Nolinor Inc., trading as Nolinor Aviation, is a charter airline based in Mirabel, a suburb of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It operates passenger charter and cargo services within Canada and to the U.S. Its main base is Montréal–Mirabel International Airport. It has 200 employees. History The airline was established in 1992 and started operations in 1997. Since June 1999 it has also been authorized to provide its own aircraft maintenance. In 2001, the company bought its first fully cargo Convair 580 and started providing cargo service to the United States and the northern region of Canada. The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing at its Renton Factory in Washington. Developed to supplement the Boeing 727 on short and thin routes, the twinjet retains the 707 fuselage width and six abreast seating with two underwing turbofans. Combi Aircraft
Combi aircraft in commercial aviation are aircraft that can be used to carry either passengers as an airliner, or cargo as a freighter, and may have a partition in the aircraft cabin to allow both uses at the same time in a mixed passenger/freight combination. The name ''combi'' comes from the word ''combination''. The concept previously existed in railroading, as a passenger car that contained a separate compartment for mail and/or baggage. Combi aircraft typically feature an oversized cargo door, as well as tracks on the cabin floor to allow the seats to be added or removed quickly. Air France Flight 066 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Los Angeles International Airport, operated by Air France and using an Airbus A380-861. On 30 September 2017, the aircraft suffered an uncontained engine failure and made an emergency landing at Goose Bay Airport, Canada. The outboard right-side Engine Alliance GP7000 engine failed and its fan hub and intake separated southeast of Paamiut, Greenland, while the aircraft was in cruise flight. A crack in the fan hub had been caused by metal fatigue. This was the second uncontained engine failure suffered by an Airbus A380, following that of a Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engine on Qantas Flight 32 in 2010.
