NoFel Sporting Club ( bn, নোফেল স্পোর্টিং ক্লাব) is a football team of Bangladesh, based on Noakhali. The current name NoFeL is an acronym for Noakhali Feni & Lakhsmipur. The club competes in the Bangladesh Championship League, the second tier of Bangladesh football. Nofel played in the Bangladesh Premier League, country's top tier association football league, for first time in 2018-2019 season after being runners-up of 2017 Bangladesh Championship League. However, they suffered relegation in the same season. History Establishment & promotion On 9 April 2017, NoFeL SC announced 21-member executive committee with BFF vice-president Tabith M Awal as its president. Shaheed Bhulu Stadium (Bangla:শহীদ ভুলু স্টেডিয়াম) is the district stadium of Noakhali, Bangladesh. The Stadium is situated near ''College Gate'' in Noakhali municipality. Stadium is used for national parade, professional and district level football and cricket leagues. It has become a venue of first class and list A cricket since 2000. Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Dhaka, founded in 1936 at Dhaka, is one of the oldest and one of the most popular football clubs in Bangladesh, with a support base in all parts of the country. The club currently plays in the Bangladesh Premier League. History The clubs journey began in Hazaribagh. Members of the famed Nawab family of Dhaka wanted to establish a local club for the youth. As a result, Muslim Sports Club came into being in 1927. Nine years later, with Khwaja M. Ajmal as its president, it was renamed Mohammedan Sporting Club, after its more renowned predecessor the Kolkata Mohammedan. Team BJMC
Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (Team BJMC) was a sporting club in Bangladesh, which is mainly located in the city of Dhaka. The club was formerly known as East Pakistan IDC prior to 1971 and Bangladesh JIC from 1971 until 1978, from which point onward the club has been renamed to Team BJMC. In 1981 the club had stopped all their football related activities, however, after 29 years, in 2010 they restarted playing professional football under the new manager Arif Khan Joy. In 2019, Team BJMC was relegated from Bangladesh Premier League, the top-tier association football league in Bangladesh & postponed its football activities in 2019. 2020–21 Bangladesh Championship League
The 2020–21 Bangladesh Championship League was the 9th season of the Bangladesh Championship League since its establishment in 2012. A total of 12 football clubs is competing in the league. T&T Club Motijheel withdrew from the league due to their financial issues. Swadhinata KS clinched their first title, with NoFeL SC following in second. The league was kicked off on 7 February 2021. It was originally scheduled to be completed within 25 June, but ended on 19 July as the league was postponed few times due to coronavirus pandemic. Brothers Union
Brothers Union is a football club based in Gopibag, Dhaka. The club was founded in 1949 and the regal business tycoon Kazi Ghiyasuddin Ahmed, better known as K. G. Ahmed served as the founder chairman of the club. At the beginning it was a well-known cultural organization. In 1973, the club started their football activities. They played 3rd Division Football League in 1973 and in 1974 and were promoted to 2nd Division in 1975.
