Brothers Union
Brothers Union is a football club based in Gopibag, Dhaka. The club was founded in 1949 and the regal business tycoon Kazi Ghiyasuddin Ahmed, better known as K. G. Ahmed served as the founder chairman of the club. At the beginning it was a well-known cultural organization. In 1973, the club started their football activities. They played 3rd Division Football League in 1973 and in 1974 and were promoted to 2nd Division in 1975. Brothers also won the title in the same year and as a result this club was promoted to 1st Division. Brothers won their first major title in the year 2004. After they were relegated from BPL in 2021-22 season the club withdrew their name from participating in the BCL. They will return in the BCL for 2022-23 season. Bangabandhu National Stadium ( bn, বঙ্গবন্ধু জাতীয় স্টেডিয়াম, ''romanised: Bongobondhu jateeyo stediyaam''), also known as Dhaka Stadium, and formerly known as Dacca Stadium, is the national stadium and a multipurpose sports arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mohammed Mohsin
Mohammed Mohsin ( bn, মোহাম্মদ মহসিন; born 3 April 1963), is a former Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a striker. He spent his entire career with Brothers Union and captained the club alongside the Bangladesh national team, in 1979. Moshin was a member of the 1980 AFC Asian Cup squad. He is also considered to be one of the best forwards to ever play for Bangladesh and was a lethal marksman in the Dhaka League during the mid 1970s and early 1980s. The National Football Championship is a semi-professional association football tournament in Bangladesh, contested by districts and government institutions of the country. During the seasons ranging from 2000 to 2006, the wide-open national cup tournament was played by club champions from different districts (Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barishal and Syhlet) along with the top three teams of each season from the country's top division at the time, the Dhaka Premier Division League (Dhaka League). Bal Gopal Maharjan ( ne, बाल गोपाल महर्जन) is a retired Nepali football player who most recently was coaching the Nepal men's national team. He was in the squad which won the historic 1993 SAG gold.
