''Ninja Warrior Germany'' (german: Ninja Warrior Germany – Die stärkste Show Deutschlands) is a Ninja Warrior spin-off that first aired in Germany on RTL in the Spring of 2016. Based on the Japanese broadcast television show, ''Sasuke'', and internationally known as ''Ninja Warrior'', contestants in the show are faced with completing various obstacles in the shortest time possible. In 2021, the sixth season of the show, René Kaselowsky and Moritz Hans both cleared Stage 4, the Mount Midoriyama with Kaselowsky having a faster time and being declared the "1st Ninja Warrior Germany" and winning the €300.000 prize money. Format Each season's competition starts with around 1300 contestants and is divided into three stages - five qualifier rounds, two semi-finals, and the final round. Björn Otto (born 16 October 1977) is a retired German pole vaulter. On 30 January 2013 in Cottbus, Germany, with the mark of 5.90 m, he set the masters world record M35. Biography His personal best is a jump of 6.01 metres, achieved on 5 September 2012 in Aachen. He cleared 5.92 metres indoors in February 2012 in Potsdam, and equaled it also at the German national indoor championships in Karlsruhe later that month. Arguably his biggest success was a second place at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Gil Doron Reichstadt Ofarim (born 13 August 1982) is a German singer, songwriter, and actor, also known as the lead singer of the bands Zoo Army and Acht. Early life Ofarim is the first child of Israeli musician Abi Ofarim (1937–2018), whose career – both solo and with first wife Esther Ofarim – dates back several decades, and his third wife Sandra. Julius Brink (born 6 July 1982 in Münster) is a beach volleyball player from Germany, who won the gold medal in the men's beach team competition at the 2006 European Beach Volleyball Championships in The Hague, Netherlands, partnering Christoph Dieckmann. He took part at the Olympic Games in 2008. In 2009 he and his current partner Jonas Reckermann won four FIVB competitions (three consecutive Grand Slams) and the German Masters of the CEV European Championship Tour. Jörn Schlönvoigt (; born 1 August 1986) is a German actor and singer who became popular through the soap opera "''Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten''". Sven Hannawald (; born 9 November 1974) is a German former ski jumper. Having competed from 1992 to 2004, his career highlight was winning the 2002 Four Hills Tournament, on that occasion becoming the first athlete to win all four events of said tournament. He also finished runner-up twice in the World Cup season, winning four medals at the Ski Jumping World Championships, as well as three medals each at the Winter Olympics and Ski Flying World Championships.
