Nikos Karageorgiou
Nikos Karageorgiou ( gr, Νίκος Καραγεωργίου; born 8 December 1962) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Club career Karageorgiou began his football career at his local village football club Aetos Eratino, before he was transferred to the region's prestigious club Kavala in 1981. He played for his hometown club for 5 years, and was subsequently transferred to PAOK in 1986, where he played for an additional 5 seasons. In 1991, Karageorgiou moved to Panathinaikos, where he won the Greek Cup in 1993, during his last season with the club. He then moved to Skoda Xanthi, where he spent the majority of his career staying at the club until 2000, when he decided to end his playing career and subsequently took over as manager of the club. Kavala
Kavala ( el, Καβάλα, ''Kavála'' ) is a city in northern Greece, the principal seaport of eastern Macedonia and the capital of Kavala regional unit. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. The Greek Cup is the second most important domestic men's football event, after the championship of Super League. The 2014–15 Cypriot Second Division was the 60th season of the Cypriot second-level football league and it began on 20 September 2014. There was a new league system in place with the eight teams of the B1 Division, merging with the eight teams of the B2 Division, creating a unified Second Division. Before the season, Alki Larnaca was dissolved due to financial problems and AEK Kouklia and AEP Paphos merged to create Pafos FC, reducing the total of clubs competing from 16 to 14. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. Giannis Mantzourakis ( gr, Γιάννης Μαντζουράκης; born 6 June 1949) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Early life Born in Romania to a Greek father and Romanian mother. His father an ethnic Greek and communist fighter was a refugee from the Greek civil war, who lived in Bucharest, right after the second World war. Mantzourakis speaks fluent Romanian and he also holds a Romanian citizenship. Playing career Mantzourakis began his youth football career with Şcoala Sportivă 2 București where he met Mircea Lucescu who was three years older than him.
