Nikolaus Von Maillot De La Treille
Nikolaus Hubert Freiherr von Maillot de la Treille (25 September 1774 – 28 August 1834) was a Bavarian lieutenant general and War Minister under Maximilian I Joseph and Ludwig I of Bavaria. Biography Maillot de la Treille was born in Jülich. He joined the cadets corps of the Bavarian army in 1776, and took part in the campaigns during 1800 and 1815. During the war, his son August was born in 1803. In 1813 he became major general and brigadier, and was Bavarian military representative of the German Confederation after 1819. Forced by field-marshal Karl Philipp von Wrede and Crown Prince Ludwig, he became minister of state for the army (''Staatsminister der Armee'') on 30 September 1822 and was advanced to the rank of lieutenant general in 1824. In 1826 the ministerial post was renamed as "war minister". Maillot de la Treille retired in 1829 and died in Munich, where he was buried in the Old Southern Cemetery. The Alter Südfriedhof (''Old South Cemetery'') also known as "Alter Südlicher Friedhof" is a cemetery in Munich, Germany. It was founded by Duke Albrecht V as a plague cemetery in 1563 about half a kilometer south of the Sendlinger Gate between Thalkirchner and Pestalozzistraße. History The cemetery was established in 1563, during the reign of Albert V, Duke of Bavaria, for victims of the plague and located outside the city gates. It was also the burial ground of the dead from the Sendling uprising of 1705, in which over 1100 were killed after they had surrendered to the troops of Joseph I, Holy Roman Emperor. From 1788 to 1867 it was the single collective burial ground for the dead of the city. Georg Von Weinrich
Georg von Weinrich (11 January 1768 – 12 December 1836) was a Bavarian military officer and served as War Minister from 31 January 1829 until his death in 1836. He was born in Mainz and died in Munich. Biography Weinrich studied at the University of Mainz. In 1785 he joined the cadet corps of the Electorate of Mainz, was advanced to the rank of an Unterleutnant in 1787, and took part in the campaigns from 1792 to 1800, and in 1815. In 1807 he became Major, and in 1810 Oberstleutnant in the forces of the Grand Duchy of Frankfurt. After the Congress of Vienna he was acquired by the Bavarian army, became Oberst in 1815, and in 1825 Brigadier and Major General. In 1827, he became commander of Fortress Marienberg. In 1829 he became war minister of the Kingdom of Bavaria under King Ludwig Ludwig II (Ludwig Otto Friedrich Wilhelm; 25 August 1845 – 13 June 1886) was King of Bavaria from 1864 until his death in 1886. Johann Nepomuk Joseph Florian, Graf von Triva (20 September 1755 – 8 April 1827) was a Bavarian General der Artillerie. He was the first War Minister of the Bavarian kingdom. Biography Triva, born in Munich, joined the cadets corps of the Bavarian army on 1 September 1766 after his parents death. On 26 September 1772 he was transferred to the genie troops in the rank of a Fähnrich, became Leutnant in 1777, Hauptmann in 1780, Major in 1785, Oberstleutnant in 1791 and Oberst in 1796. In 1779 he married Floriana von Velhorn, a daughter of a Privy Councillor in Amberg, Johann Wolfgang Alois von Velhorn (1734–1789), by his marriage to Sybilla von Loefen zu Diepoltsdorf. Floriana died in 1791. In 1797 he married as his second wife a maid of honour of the deceased Countess Elizabeth Augusta, a Fräulein van der Stock. Schwabing is a borough in the northern part of Munich, the capital of the German state of Bavaria. It is part of the city borough 4 (Schwabing-West) and the city borough 12 (Schwabing-Freimann). The population of Schwabing is estimated about 100.000, making it one of the largest districts of Munich. The main boulevard is Leopoldstraße.
