Night Working
Shift work is an employment practice designed to make use of, or provide service across, all 24 hours of the clock each day of the week (often abbreviated as ''24/7''). The practice typically sees the day divided into shifts, set periods of time during which different groups of workers perform their duties. The term "shift work" includes both long-term night shifts and work schedules in which employees change or rotate shifts. Jeff Beck
Geoffrey Arnold Beck (born 24 June 1944) is an English rock guitarist. He rose to prominence with the Yardbirds and after fronted the Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice. In 1975, he switched to a mainly instrumental style, with a focus on innovative sound, and his releases have spanned genres ranging from blues rock, hard rock, jazz fusion and a blend of guitar-rock and electronica. Beck ranked in the top five of ''Rolling Stone'' and other magazine's list of 100 greatest guitarists. He is often called a "guitarist's guitarist". ''Rolling Stone'' describes him as "one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock". ''Nightshift'' is a free monthly music magazine in Oxford, England. Distributed via music venues, pubs, and shops, it provides music news, gig listings, and reviews for the city and surrounding area. History First published in March 1991, it was originally titled ''Curfew'', and continued under that name until the end of 1994, when the main venues in Oxford - The Venue, the Jericho Tavern, and the Hollybush - closed down temporarily and there was little music scene to cover. ''Curfew'' had the earliest reviews and interviews with Radiohead and Supergrass. In July 1995, publication started anew as ''Nightshift'', ahead of the opening of venues the Zodiac and the Point. After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ''Nightshift'' arranged a fundraiser on July 1, 2021 to raise £12,000 to cover printing and distribution costs. Night Shift (comics)
The Night Shift is a fictional group of criminals appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The characters first appeared in '' Captain America'' #330 (June 1987). Publication history After their initial appearance in '' Captain America'' #330-331 (June and July 1987), the team makes a cameo appearance in ''Solo Avengers'' #3 (February 1988). Their next battle is against the West Coast Avengers in ''West Coast Avengers'' (vol. 2) #40 (January 1989). Their first appearance in the 1990s is a four-issue story arc in ''Avengers: West Coast'' #76-79 (November 1991-February 1992) titled "Infamous Monsters of Hollywood". They then return to the pages of ''Captain America'' in issue #420 (October 1993). Hide And Seek (The Birthday Massacre Album)
Hide-and-seek (sometimes known as hide-and-go-seek) is a popular children's game in which at least two players (usually at least three) conceal themselves in a set environment, to be found by one or more seekers. The game is played by one chosen player (designated as being "it") counting to a predetermined number with eyes closed while the other players hide. After reaching this number, the player who is "it" calls "Ready or not, here I come!" or "Coming, ready or not!" and then attempts to locate all concealed players. The game can end in one of several ways. The most common way of ending is the player chosen as "it" locates all players; the player found first is the loser and is chosen to be "it" in the next game. The player found last is the winner. Another common variation has the seeker counting at "home base"; the hiders can either remain hidden or they can come out of hiding to race to home base; once they touch it, they are "safe" and cannot be tagged. ''Juju'' is the fourth studio album by English rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was recorded at Surrey Sound studio with Nigel Gray as co-producer, and was released on 19 June 1981 by record label Polydor. Two singles were released from ''Juju'': " Spellbound" and " Arabian Knights". The album was commercially successful in the UK. ''Rastaman Vibration'' is the eighth studio album by the reggae band Bob Marley and the Wailers, released in April 1976. Critical reception Reviewing for ''Rolling Stone'' in 1976, Robert Palmer said that on the album Marley consummately performs "a dual role as spokesman for the Third World's disadvantaged and avatar of a highly commercial brand of popular music".
